Take Me on an Autumn Walk

Happy Weekend, Fab Free! Gus heard that a turkey is running amok around the grid, acting like a real jerk. The bird is reportedly loud and obnoxious, knocking stuff over and throwing feathers around.  Of course, Gus and I had to hit the trail on The Jerky Turkey Hunt and see what we could find.  Today’s outfit is one of the prizes.

A Hug You Wear All Day

For the hunt, you’ll be searching for the red feathers the rude gobbler is tossing around.  Each hunt prize costs just 1L$.  Over at the Ink Blots store, we discovered a cozy fall frock.  Sweater dresses are a wardrobe staple because they blend the warmth of a knitted garment with the ease and elegance of a dress.  This dress, with its rich shades of burnt orange, brown, and yellow plaid, is quintessentially autumnal.  I love the chunky cowl neck and the ribbed skirt section.  The event runs through November 30th, so you have plenty of time to hit the trail.

Happy Weekend, Fab Free!  Gus and I returned to the hunt trail and came away with a cute dress to share with you.  The Mystery Fair and Hunt focuses on autumn, fairies, elves, gothic style, and nature.  Each hunt prize costs a reasonable 3L$ and the event runs through November 15th.

No Pixie Dust Required

The curve-hugging Lorena Dress from Telsiopes Couture features shimmering golden accents and garters.  It leaves your shoulders bare and has a daringly high hemline.  The designer included a texture change HUD packed with 17 options for colors.  You’ll need to find the hunt icon – a darling fairy – and pay the 3L$ fee to pick up a copy of this cute dress.

Hey Fab Fam! It’s Friday, YAY! Another glorious weekend looms ahead for us and I can’t wait. So let’s start early with our good vibes by getting 350L worth of stuff for jut 10L! “Ooh, Juli! How can we do this?” You ask and I say, “At Carol’s Store, of course!”

Carol’s Store is offering a 350L gift card for all us group members to spend on anything in the store. And unlike some stores, you can actually buy just about anything with that amount. It’s even a good chunk off the price of fatpacks! All you have to do is join the Carol’s Store group which costs a tiny little 10L. Then grab your gift card and get to shopping! Hello there, Fabulous Readers! Gus and I are enjoying exploring a new-to-us sim that is really lovely: Susurrous. If you are looking for a tranquil location to hang out or for a photo shoot, we highly recommend it!

Casual and Cute

The Be a Voice, Not an Echo cropped tee is AnaSTyle’s latest group gift. It features cap-style sleeves and a yellow swoosh/inspirational quote on a white background.  It’s simple and sporty.  To pick up a copy for yourself, you need to be a member of the AnaSTyle group, and there is a 15L$ join fee.

Those Finishing Touches

To add a bit of elegance to my outfit, I slipped on the large, black Naveeda Earrings from Enamour that I found at the Spookzilla Hunt for just 25L$.  The glossy ebony hue of these hoops coordinates with my trousers and the black font on my shirt.  The twists in the metal add visual interest.  As Beachy stated in her post here, the Spookzilla Hunt is challenging, but there are so many wonderful prizes to find, all reasonably priced.

Hey ya, Fab Fam! I hope ya’ll are getting properly Spooky-fied for the season. I’m not in costume today but I found such a cute season appropriate little dress I couldn’t resist it.

This is the “Maret” dress from PixiCat and you can pick it up for mostly free. You can find it at the Fifty Linden Fridays Halloween bash FLF -O- Ween. The FLF group does cost 1 tiny Linden to join but that’s not too much of a strain on the ol’ wallet. Plus it sets you up to pick soooo many free gifts.
