OK I don’t look one bit shy in this picture, which I think is why I chose this song for my blog post. I do look all decked out in some beautiful PBR textures tho!

I keep mentioning the great inventory clean up, which provides me with the ability to see I have all these beautiful free gifts in my inventory that are still available! This is working out well for all of us, I hope.

Just look at this gorgeous leather bodice I picked up at The Forge, completely free. It is part of Reborn Revealed, and I have no idea how long it will be available but it is still available, with no group needed! It comes in PBR and fall back textures and it’s rigged for:

I added another free gift from the same event from Orsini Jewelry. At least, I hope I did. I also picked up all the group gifts when I joined the group and it’s possible I mixed them up. These Melody bracelets come for either wrist, and come with a fatpack metal and gem hud. The group fee is back up to 150L, but there are some gorgeous pieces to be had for that price.

The other day I blogged a new group gift Glitter Stiletto from N-Core HERE, but I just found these shoes, the Desire heels, in my ‘to blog’ folder, and they were perfect for the bodice. They are a fatpack, and you can change the metal of the chain or turn it off. They come rigged for:

Talking To The Moon

Phew Fabs! What a crazy week it’s been on the grid, amirite? I think I’ve been busy for 12 hours a day for at least the last week, and I’m not complaining! This is my favorite time of the year for a reason, I do love having so many things to do and see.

Howling

I’m howling at the moon because I don’t know what sound a spider makes. Think if I scream ‘Pssspssspspspssss’ that spider on the moon behind me will come hang out? I want to pet himz! I took a trip over to Happy Halloween by Cica Ghost for this picture, and I definitely recommend. First, though, I got dressed up in a pile of freebies I brought home from FLF-O-Ween!

What’d I Miss

Happy Saturday, FabFree! I am so obsessed with all of the gifts that I’m wearing today, they all go SO well together. I just love it when the looks make themselves.

The Inspiration

There is a new free group gift out at Poison Rouge. I really love all of the stuff that she makes, it’s such a unique and lovely style. To be honest I wasn’t entirely sure what to do with these shorts at first glance but really they can be styled so many different ways! My uncertainty was quickly replaced with lots of really great options of things to wear with these sexy, high waist, white leather shorts. The Poison Rouge group is 100L to join and you’ll find this free group gift inside the store.

The Bash

I grabbed the shorts as I was unpacking my mountain of free gifts from the FLF Bday Bash. I know I’m a broken record about this, but Fifty Linden Friday is my favorite, and the FLF events are like the weekly sale on steroids! All those great designers in one place, all offering amazing things for 50L, PLUS so many free gifts. It’s really just the best. I’m sure I’ll be back with more FLF Bday Bash as my mean old RL allows, but for now I’ve got two amazing free gifts that seem made for each other and these shorts:

Meet Me On The Roof

I found my dream living situation right here in SL. Of course, that’s how it works, I could never afford to live in one of these cool city loft apartments in RL. Chaos and Calm is a new region in the destination guide, it has apartments you can rent, and connected rooftop patios. I want. Plus, you can get the very best entertainment without leaving your house, just step outside to your rooftop and listen to your neighbors fight 😉 I get the best gossip!

Found treasures

Treasure hunting is a fun activity, whether you’re looking for gifts in SL or thrifting IRL. Today I’ve got some gifts I’ve found all over the grid for you guys. Let’s start with my shirt! This is a free gift over at the Manhood Event. It’s made by Bartimeu. You can find it located in the sign outside of the booth. It comes in this red color and has a hud for the waist shirt. It’s rigged for Legacy and Athletic, and to be honest, I do have some clipping on the arms and around my neck using my Jake, but generally it’s wearable for me. You just need to join the free Manhood group to bring it home. The event is open until April 21st.

Next, some gifts from the February issue of L’Homme I hadn’t shown you. My cross earrings are a free gift from Badwolf, and come in silver. You can choose to wear them connected or in just one ear.
I also picked up this Rockstar Necklace at The Forge, wearing my L’Homme tag. I really have no idea which gift is for which edition, but it doesn’t matter, all of the gifts ever offered for the L’Homme group are available and you can get them all for free wearing your tag. The L’Homme group is free to join.

Last but never least are my free shoes. I could have sworn these had been blogged before but I can’t find them so I’ll talk about them again 😉 These are very nice high top paisley sneakers in red by Gabriel, and they’re a free gift for members of the Essential Inventory group. Witchy Woman

You knew the October Halloween events are near. Did you know there is something you need for Halloween on the FabFree Back to Cool hunt?? The Back to Cool hunt runs through September 30th. You can see what’s been set out as hunt prizes here. And don’t miss out on the the CakeDay and Swank Anniversary rounds. Swank will end on September 30th. Cakeday will close on September 29th.

My look today is inspired by the Back to Cool hunt prizes from Mostyn Street. It started out with this witch hat and very cool scarf. Both are $5L each. The hat has a band in the same leopard print as the scarf. The scarf does move when you walk. It sort of floats behind you. Like I said it’s very cool. The items are in one size only but modifiable. (Plus points for us bloggers with big heads.)

I added some witchy looking clothing from previous years as well as new makeup I picked up at events. I am wearing the Goldy eyeshadow from Modish (Free gift at Cakeday/Free group required). You can’t really see it here but trust me it is sweet; it’s BOM for EvoX heads.

My lipstick is a gift at Swank’s 10th Anniversary round from PAIX. It comes in matte colors with a 6 texture/color change options. (Free gift at Swank/Free group required).

Vagrant is having another big 50% sale, which ends after tomorrow (the 21st). They’re also giving away 300L in credit for their group members, and the group is free to join. The credit expires after the 28th, but the sale is only though the 21st, so to get the most bang for your buck, shop today! I picked this outfit up as part of the Happy Weekend sale this past weekend, and was able to use my credit on it! I needed a pair of overalls for Lara X, so I was thrilled. These come sized for:

Miracle Grow??

T.G.I.F.! Another week and month have poofed and here we are in hot, sticky, August. At least it’s cooler in SL! It’s the start of a new month so that means new gifts from many of our favorite store groups. I was excited to find this darling dress as one of those gifts. I also picked up two Fifty Linden Friday deals and found a new place to visit. Whew, I might need a rest after this one. Then I went looking for a new photo spot and came across a new to me place with surreal very large flowers.

Today’s ramble began with a trip to Carol’s Store to pick up the latest free group gift. The group join fee is $10L. She always has such pretty things in the store in addition to her generous group gifts. The latest gift is this darling dress simple called August Group Gift comes in the colors shown above. I love those unpacking huds that let you chose the body size you want. Then you can toss that hud into the same folder for any sizes you may want in the future.

On to Shopping!

Like many of you I do love a good sale. I always look at the galleries but *gasp* I don’t always buy something. Today was different. Fifty Linden Fridays had two items I couldn’t live my SL life without!

First is my new hairdo! Stealthic has the Pulse hair on sale at $50L for the basic pack. It’s a very nice long style that will complement most outfits. The pack includes sizes for small and large heads with different breast sizes as well as a color change hud with 170 colors to chose from. This is a great sale so hurry over and grab it before it’s gone.

Last, I got new shoes too! Pure Poison has the Carla Sandals out for the FLF sale for $50L. These are drop dead gorgeous and have so many details. You can change a number of the details on the sandals with the enclosed texture hud making these so versatile. They are sized for Ebody, Legacy, and Maitreya.

Who Says I Can’t Do That?

Here’s another one of those almost improbable situations we bloggers tend to get into. There is a point to this picture (at least in my mind, lol). July is halfway done already. If you haven’t done any of the events with gifts or hunts this month, get cracking!

Just Another Day in Paradise

Eating pizza on a boat ride is something new for me. When I was growing up we’d eat sandwiches while fishing with my Papa. And I have dined on Popeye’s Chicken. Times have changed and now some pizza companies use gps to deliver pizza wherever you are. So pizza on a boat is fine by me.

The Womenstuff Hunt is HUGE!! You pay $50L to join the group and you’ll get a hud with all of the 106 items on the hunt and you’ll pay nothing for each prize. Or you can check the FabFree spreadsheet for the hunt. One of my stops on this massive hunt is one of favorite designers, Telsiope’s Couture. Today I am showing off this gorgeous trikini, Jodie. Jodie is completely free on the Womenstuff Hunt. You’ll find 2 texture change huds; both have 10 solid colors & 10 patterned textures. One is for the swimsuit while the other is for details (trim). The Womenstuff hunt runs through July 31st.
