This is the “Still of the Night” dress from The Sissy Bar, one of my favorite designers, for the “Still of the Night” 2 Hunt. Of course, I love the beautiful ‘galaxy’ and stars and the textures are perfectly done. Over all it’s just a lovely little dress. And just 1 linden plus some easy searching? I’ll take it!

Live Life in Color

Hi Fabulous Readers! Sometimes you just need a comfy, chill outfit for relaxing on a summer day, and I found one in a budget-friendly hunt prize.

I’ve Got All My Favorite Colors

Gus and I hit the trail of The Colors Hunt today. It’s a grid-wide hunt with 19 stops along the way. You’ll be looking for a diamond, and each prize is priced at a reasonable 2L$. Down at The Sissy Bar, we discovered the rare gem in the shop, and then I teleported home to open the package. Nestled inside, I found the music-themed tank and the button-front, form-fitting denim shorts. I love the way the jeans fit snugly and feature double pockets. The tank is slightly cropped and is adorned with a brightly colored treble clef and musical notes. Each prize folder includes a landmark to the next stop along the hunt path. The diamonds can be tricky to spot, so be sure to check the hint-giver at each location for a power up 🙂

The first day of Summer

Hey Fab Fam! Today is the first official day of Summer here in the western part of the world. So I figured what better way to start the season off than at the beach! Besides, I have a cute new beach inspired outfit to show off, so why not?!

This is the “All the Colors” top and shorts outfit from one of my fav designers – The Sissy Bar. It’s a 1L prize for the Hunt of the same name. I just love the bikini peaking out at the sides of the shorts and the top. It’s perfect for strolling the shore, don’t ya think?

Falling Leaves & Floating Pumpkins

Hello fabulous readers! Today I would like to show you some fun items that are in the Cheeky Monkey Hunt‘s “I Put a Spell On You 2” hunt this month. You can see previews of all the hunt gifts on their site HERE. As you probably suspect, the theme this month is Halloween and spooky stuffs. Let’s chat about what I’m showing…

The Sissy Bar has this cute fall outfit out for L$1 in the hunt. It includes the leather pants and fall print cropped turtleneck. Both come in standard fitmesh sizes and the top also comes in Belleza OG, Maitreya and Slink sizes.
These lovely floating pumpkin candles are part of a pose set from Something New as the L$25 exclusive item in the hunt. The pumpkins rotate around you slowly and the fog underneath swirls. The pose I am using is the pose that comes in the setup.

Here is a closeup of the top and also wanted to mention and show the nail polish I’m wearing. It’s not from the hunt, but rather from N.Kolour, and their nail polish sets are always such a great price! This set gives 5 colors to choose from for the design.

The 3rd designer from the Cheeky Monkey Hunt is The Bold Llama. These three graphic tanktops rae part of the hunt. The “Screamer” is a L$1 prize, the “Wednesday” is the L$25 exclusive and the “Flying Monkeys” is the L$50 exclusive. These tanks fit so many bodies! Here’s the list:

Rock Steady

Some days you just want to rock out because you have all kinds of energy to expend. I wandered around a bit then stumbled upon a gorgeous sim on Bahia Bay, Soul2Soul Rocks. It has tranquil beaches with sparkling water and woodlands. Well… I wasn’t exactly in a tranquil mood. I pulled out my trusty electric guitar and rocked out to my heart’s content. It’s pretty cool that you don’t have to have a power source in SL.

Time to Hunt Again

The start of each month brings new hunts to the grid. Today I’ve got hunt gifts from the Rock Hunt and the Shiver Me Timbers hunt. You can click on those links to see the hunt gifts and hints. There is an emphasis on “Pirate” stuff this month. It could be because September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Are you ready for it? If not, get to hunting!

Remembering

Hello again, FabFree. Today is a holiday here in the States. And it’s a bittersweet one for me. I love the fact that we think about our freedoms and how they were won for us. But so many of my family and beloved friends paid that ultimate price for those freedoms. I know this is just a ‘day off work’ for so many or a time to hit the beach or that backyard BBQ and I don’t look down on that at all. It’s just the “poppies of remembrance” are never far from my mind today. So lift a toast to our fallen today and enjoy every freedom they bought for you on the beach and at that BBQ. I think they’d want us to.
