Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  Gus and I are still enjoying our escape from Old Man Winter.  A couple of days ago, one of our lovely Fab Free group members mentioned a Midnight Mania board at Graffitiwear in chat.  I’m sorry, I don’t remember your name, or I’d give you a shout-out.  I headed over to the shop and tapped the board.  We didn’t win that night, but I kept returning until we did.  Today’s outfit is that prize.  Isn’t she cute?

Gone are the Cares

I don’t have to worry about my Linden dollar account balance, thanks to the free Embroidered Denim Beautiful Dreamer outfit from Graffitiwear.  It’s perfect for breezy seaside afternoons.  The prize features a sleeveless top with a “shirt-style” collar, delicate buttons, and a cropped length with ties at the waist.  I love the weathered, blue floral print; it gives the fabric a vintage vibe.  Coordinating shorts complete the look.  The waistband matches the color of the collar, while the hemline just skims the upper thighs.  The edge of the shorts falls with a gentle drape, creating a relaxed feel.  A texture HUD with six options allows you to customize your look.  To pick up a copy for yourself, tap the Midnight Mania Board and cross your fingers.  It might take a couple of tries to reach the target, but this retro set is well worth the effort!  The board states that it’s for members of the Graffitiwear group only, which has a 25L$ join fee.  I didn’t have my group tag activated, so you might not need it to win the prize.

A Winter’s Day

Happy Wednesday, Fabulous Readers!  I agree with Allison.  There is so much going on this time of year that it is hard to know what I want to blog.  Except for this post.  As soon as I saw that Carol’s Store has a free gift card, I knew!

First Things First

I have to say I was thrilled when I heard about the free 500L$ gift card for members of the Carol’s Store Group!  It’s one of my favorite clothing stores in SL, and with such a generous amount, I knew I might be able to get more than one item.  All you need to do is activate the Carol’s Group tag (it costs 10L$ to join), head to the back of Carol’s Store, and tap the Christmas Gift Card Vendor.  You’ll receive a message from Allomancy with a link to the website where you can redeem your gift card for store credit.  When you find an item you’d like to purchase with the credit, right-click the vendor, then select “Menu.”  On the next pop-up, tap “Use Credit,” and you’re good to go!  You can use the credit for items in the main store, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you can also purchase items at special events.

…sweaters, that is!  If any turkey out there survived Thanksgiving, I say let him keep his neck. 🙂 The Eleanor Sweater is one of the latest releases from Carol’s Store, and is being offered exclusively at the Uber Monthly Event.  This warm, ribbed sweater has a slim fit that flatters your figure.  It features a slightly cropped hemline and wrist-hugging cuffs.  I opted for the color Nude, but it’s also available in 13 other hues for 240L$ each (free with your store credit).

Happy Friday, Fab Free!  Gus and I are taking off for a getaway in RL, but I wanted to quickly share a couple of budget-friendly Marketplace finds with you before we leave.

Blooming in Blush Tones

This beautiful Bella Maxi Skirt from Swansong and Company was the inspiration for my outfit today.  It’s hard to believe that it’s priced at just 69L$ on the Marketplace.  Its soft blush-pink base is adorned with a delicate floral pattern in shades of cream and dusty rose.  The fabric drapes loosely from the low-rise waist and just grazes the tops of your toes.  If you’re aiming for a sweet, feminine vibe, you won’t want to miss this!

 Breezy Elegance

The halter-style Drew Top from Safira complements the skirt with its bright pink hue.  Softly gathered fabric at the neckline and cropped hem give the shirt a sweet, but polished look.  I love the soft pleats in the bodice!  The folder contains this solid version of the top as well as a floral one.  Best of all, it is on sale for just 50L$ at the Safira Marketplace store.

I searched the Marketplace to find a pair of shorts in just the right shade to coordinate with the trim on my top, and I found exactly what I was looking for at the Classy Chics Shop for a budget-friendly 50L$.  These high-waisted denim shorts hug your curves and come with a HUD packed with 9 hues.  With so many options, they will be a versatile addition to your summer wardrobe.  I found the charcoal gray to be a perfect match.  They are designed solely for the Maitreya body, and the price was ideal!

Turkey Day Tasks

Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day here in the USA, and I’ve been busy preparing desserts and side dishes.  It’s really hard not to sample that pumpkin pie!  I finally put my feet up and had some “me time” today.  I picked up the cutest evergreen bouquet for the holiday table and was happy to discover that one of the sale items from 25 Linden Tuesdays is still available.

It’s Not Too Late

At the Paper Sparrow shop, the cozy Taylor Holiday Sweater and regular Taylor Sweater are on sale for just 25L$ per design. I scooped up multiple holiday versions and a couple of plain ones. I can’t think of Christmas-y clothing until after Thanksgiving, so I opted to share the plain white version with you today. It has extra-long sleeves, a boat-style neckline, and a cheeky cropped length. I love how fuzzy it looks!  I’m not sure how much longer the price will be set to 25L$, so if you want a copy for yourself, hustle on over to Paper Sparrow.  The coordinating Taylor Skirts are also set to 25L$.

That Finishing Touch

I know, I know!
