Wrap me in Bows

FabFree @ Fifteen Continues…

Today I am bringing two items from Fabulously Free’s Birthday Event. The first is this beautiful set of bow jewelry that I am wearing and the second is the cheerful flower field I’m standing in. And now that I’ve called them “first” and “second” I’m going to confuse you and talk about the second one first! Dr. Seuss is in the house.

.Lunaria. is the location for this fun little tulip field. It is there fabulous FREE gift for FabFree at Fifteen. The gift comes with both a static and animated version. It is all mesh, copy/mod and only 1 Li at its given size. Don’t forget your FabFree group tag to get it!
The bow jewelry that I am wearing are all from Beloved Jewelry by Kimbra McMillan. If you have never seen Beloved Jewelry, you are in for a treat. The amount of detail and customization options that go into her work is incredible. Let me break these down for you:
- The spine piercings are actually part of the Miix 69L Sale, and are at her mainstore. I added them because I thought they would really finish the look. It fits Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya and Slink and comes in large and small versions.
- The earrings are the L$15 item for FabFree @ Fifteen and unrigged. They come in two sizes and two versions. I should add you can change the metal and gem textures with one HUD and the tint/color of the bows with another on all these jewelry items.

Two more…
- The choker is the discounted exclusive item, and only L$25!!! It is unrigged and comes with two sizes each in two different versions.
- Finally, the FREE item is a set of these darling hair clips, again unrigged and in two versions. Check out the one I’m wearing here:

There’s No Place Like Home

Hey gang! For today’s finds, I am taking you inside my humble abode, and also to our new Fab Free Headquarters! So travel around the grid with me if you will! We Fab Free sisters live and breathe freebies and deals so that means we use them in our little corners of the grid, just like y’all do! We try to set a good example by *trying* to live frugally! (not always easy! hee hee)

So, let’s get started, as I have a lot to show you. Above is my kitchen table area, I did this with a kitchen set from Careless (I didn’t even put everything out!) that cost me only 49L. It’s super cute and I added a couple of odds and ends from them too. The poses are great too, really well made stuff!

Below is my living room. My couch and chair are a set, also from Careless, but they are a group gift meaning they are free cause the group is free to join as well! If this color isn’t your thing, you guessed it, she has other colors for 49L! The cute Tulips on my mantle? 10L at Careless. The little trees with lights are from Caro Designe on market and you can get them for 50L.

Below you can see I used the little trees from Caro in more than one place, they are just sooo pretty! The pink Paris themed dresser with fairy lights? That’s one of my creations and you can grab that at Shanti for only 50L!

Here is another market find that I absolutely love, these little lantern lights from What Next. You can grab these on their marketplace store for only 10L! They are stunning, let me tell you! You can of course put them anyplace you like, I strung them along my fence by the pool.

Lastly, I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to pop by and check out the new headquarters yet, but in keeping with the fab free spirit, the house we used is of course free. It’s a free group gift from Greymoon Designs (who has adorable houses! I live in one (and own several! lol!), and the group is only 50L to join. When you join, you can grab a bunch of cute houses on the group gifts wall and here is the one we used (C-Side Cottage):

The landscaping I used is mostly from Lunaria and the trees with sparkles in them are both free group gifts from Lunaria and that group is free to join. I love her stuff!

PS Don’t let Aline fool you, she did half of the amazing decorating too! It was an awesome team effort!

QUICKIE: SelfExpressions / Flowerpot Hunt at Island Depot

SelfExpressions offers a really cute freebie: Summer Flamingo Jeans Set. It comes with jeans painted with flowers and flamingos and a matching short top. This set is free only today! Your landingpoint is at the entrance of SelfExpressions`store. Go straight ahead to the back salesroom – the freebie is a big ad on the wall.

When done with Summer Flamingo Jeans Set head over to ISLAND DEPOT. There´s a very nice Lost Spring Flowerpot Treasure Hunt going on (no fashion items!). At your landingpoint you will see a big sign, click it to get a notecard with more details. You have to find 50 flower pots, they are hidden all over the sim. The pots are easy to find and you will get lovely flowers like daffodils, tulips, a blooming spring tree, a lounge chair with matching umbrella, a small rock with butterfly emitter, willow in a vase and also potted flowers and more. I don´t know how long Lost Spring Flowerpot Treasure Hunt will last – the notecard says “… until the next hunt is starting”. I think it´s a nice alternation to hunt garden stuff, so don´t miss it 🙂
