We Won’t Let It Be Erased

What? You didn’t think I’d skip the birthday event for my very favorite weekly sale, did you?! Not a chance. This coffee and croissant run is dedicated to you, Fifty Linden Fridays.

The FLF events always have cool themes and this time it’s a whole summer camp vibe for the FLF Bday Bash. It was tempting to go that direction, but instead I went with some of my favorite creators for my favorite sale. It’s favorites all the way down…and I brought croissants! A Sunday morning breakfast run is always a good idea. The free items that I’m showing from the FLF Bday Bash are:

Hey FabFree! Just dropping in to kick off the weekend with a couple of my favorites – group gift skin and FLF!

Group Gift Skin

You’ve heard of Akeruka because they make lovely heads and often give them out as group gifts. In fact, right now you can find a pair of amazing gift heads in the store fully compatible with EvoX. The newest group gift at AK caught my attention though, because it’s a gorgeous free skin! If you’re not already in this group then you should be, it’s a no brainer to get in on such high quality skins and heads for a 150L join fee. This skin is honestly soooooo pretty, I’m in slove or at the very least slust. The gift includes a wide variety of Velour skin tones, each with or without brows. Just find the vendor in the store, pay 1L, and it’s yours.

FLF

I won’t go on about how much I love Fifty Linden Fridays, but my goodness it’s a lot. This week I scooped up this dress from Valentina E. I absolutely love Valentina E, because they make such classy and high quality stuff. This one’s a bit on the sexy side but still decidedly elegant. I do love a man’s suit coat as a dress, and it has the best backless style as an extra bonus that you’ve just gotta see. This pale blue shade is 50L for the weekend, sized for:

Day Of The Dead

I find one of the most beautiful of holidays, is the one where we celebrate those we have lost. All around the world, this holiday that originated in Mexico, Día de Muertos, is celebrated in many different ways, almost always including marigolds, Pan de muerto and sugar skulls. Now THAT is a holiday!

I’ve lost two of my closest friends in SL years ago, my dear friend G who I joined SL with lived in Mexico and the other, my friend the Batman, was of Mexican descent. Today, with this awesome free outfit from Byrne, I celebrate them and too many others we’ve lost along the way.

Cruella Starville

Here is another one of my Halloween costumes for this weekend. I was inspired by an ad for a pose but I couldn’t find any of the items the designer used so I had to improvise, her image was more gritty (which I loved) but I went with the newer Cruella.

I feel very sexy in this racy red dress from Valentina E, which is currently only 50L at the FLF-o-Ween event, actually everything at the event is 50L except for the gifts, they are free!!. My furry companions and I are ready to dance the night away.

Caught In The Rain

I’ve got no plans, except for loving you

I want to go somewhere like this in real life. I want to be somewhere quaint among gorgeous old buildings and pose in a field of lavender, without a care in the world. Instead, I wiped milk off of my dog’s head this morning. haha But it’s all good, I can find humor in pretty much anything. Such is life.

Looking the part

I think this fabulous dress is just right for my vicarious adventure. There are a whole bunch of gachas at Valentina E. and I got my new dress from one of them! It’s truly so lovely. I prefer gachas that are the same thing in various colors and patterns, rather than a whole set of different pieces. That way I know that I’ll be getting the shirt or whatever that I want, instead of either getting that or a foot stool. haha That was a really random example that I made up off the top of my head but you know what I mean, right? For my 50L gacha play, I knew I was going to get this sweet dress so it didn’t feel like such a gamble – no matter the outcome, I win! I looooove the pretty floral pattern that I ended up with. It is just so perfect with the slight gathering at the top and the great ruffles. The fit is for Maitreya only.
