I Can See Clearly Now

Sing it with me everyone, “It’s gonna be a bright (bright) sunshiny day!”

Of course this was the first song that popped into my head when I tried on this new outfit!  I mean, it doesn’t hurt that the color is named ‘sun’ but it sure is bright and lovely isn’t it?  Then I wanted to find something to hold while posing and I found this sunny day set in my inventory, and now here we are.

And almost free gifts!  I got a notice from Yasum the other day, that it’s taken her ‘too long’ to get her new releases into the store from recent events, and to apologize for that, she put out a bunch of gifts.  That Azlyn is too kind, and she really loves her customer base. There are a bunch of gifts now at Yasum, and you can get them all for 1L each!  This is the Sabine Top and Pants (and suspenders) and it’s absolutely perfect.  I love the fluffy top – because you know I love that all things fluffy, I knew this was the gift I had to wear for this post.  It comes sized for:

In order to grab these gifts, head to the store and step on the TP disc.  A hologram menu will appear and you’ll click on NEW RELEASES and it’ll TP you up to them.  Then, look at all her clothes in that room, and anything with a smiley thumbs up emoji guy next to it can be purchased for 1L.  No group is needed to get these gifts either!  Her clothes fit like a glove.

Honorable Mention

I almost forgot to mention my shoes!  These are also a lovely shade of sun – and they’re a group gift at [Versov].  The [Versov] group is free to join, and if you look at the front of the desk there’s 4 very small pictures, that are gifts you can grab.  These shoes have a clear band on top but a colorful heel, and there are multiple colors in the package.

Tooty Fruity is currently free to join!  That’s exciting news, since they give some awesome monthly group gifts.  Not that it’s usually super expensive to join (49L for as long as I can remember) so this is just a nice little treat.  It will be free til the end of the month.  I got this quite lovely shirt as their latest group gift.  You can just see the iridescent polka dots that shimmer in the light.  Is black not your thang?  Well, luckily for you there is an extensive HUD to change to all sorts of lovely colours.  Yay!

Allison convinced me… maybe I won’t let go of the beach quite yet.  Or ever.  Until I change my mind again, at least.

Happy Anniversary, Firestorm!

The beach is calling!  Figuratively, of course.  Wouldn’t it be weird if a pile of sand suddenly called you, and you looked at your phone and mumbled “I don’t recognise this number…” and you pick up, and the beach is all like “heyyyy buddy…come splash in the waves!” and you just leave your normal life behind to become a beach person forever?  Um.  I don’t know what just happened there.  But…we’re going to the beach!

5,6,7,8!

Vanilla Bae have some big sales going on this weekend (they call them bake sales…heheheh).   Anyway, as the sales are happening they’ve also put out a new group gift in the middle.  These leggings are inspired by cheer workouts (the side says 5-6-7-8) and come in both tight and loose versions.  The Vanilla Bae group is currently 50L to join, and there are a few other group gifts to pick up too.  This gift is most likely going to disappear after the weekend, so don’t delay!

Today I’m feeling distinctively citrusy.  I’m a tall glass of water filled with slices of orange, lime and of course a really long and superfluous straw.  I’ve got summer on my mind, even though spring feels like it’s barely underway in my neck of the woods.  Time to tuck a flower behind your ear and get the carefree feeling that is synonymous with the season of sun.

It’s officially Summer now, and that means that it’s time to dig in and get some planting done.  Me and Pru and ready for a bit of planting and gossiping, which will clearly be followed by some lemonade on the porch.   We’re getting in touch with nature again!  Hooray for the summertime!

Home Sweet Home

Make Me Feel

Hello again Fab Free’rs, and welcome back to the blog. I just could not resist the opportunity to pair up with the indomitable Love Trill for this post. The MOVE! group gift at ACCESS gave us the perfect opportunity to show off some freebies and some dance moves at the same time. In true friend fashion, we also happen to be twinning in camo shorts from RKKN which are also free at ACCESS. To help pull my look together I added one of the 6 free group gifts at Versov. Fly Away

Fly Away

“I want to get away, I want to fly away.”  That’s so my mood today, I just wanna get away.  I’m so sick of being cooped up and want this whole ordeal to be over.  Life as we know won’t be the same for a while.  I suppose we need to get used to it.  Good thing for Second Life!  It lets me get away and even fly away, if I want.  I took to skateboarding in the virtual world.  In real life, I pulled out the table fan, set it to stationary, and put it on high.  To get that wind blowing through my hair feeling you get when you’re ripping up the street and flying through the air.

I tossed on some long board shorts and a tank top. Threw on my sneakers and grabbed the Long board.  Before you know it, I was thrashing and gleaming the cube. My outfit is assembled of freebies. The Dylan shorts are from MG Designs, and they come in several popular mesh sizes.  My blue tank top is from TwoSided.  Both of these are part of the Stay At Home Club’s long lists of gifts.  That even includes my Long board skateboard by Max Magic.  That long board has some great jump action in it.  That’s how I was able to snap this picture. If you haven’t checked out the Stay at Home Club web page, you really should.  They have freebies for both males and females, even some for the children of Second Life, as well as home and garden stuff.  Everything you need to either help you get started or to add to your Second Life.
