I like to think of myself as a gentleman. It’s generally the case, unless I’m hungry.  I’ve got that in common with Beachy, in our family we like to call it ‘hangry’.  So hungry, I’m angry, and I’m willing to eat just about anything.  I went to Camp Syndicate looking for campers, but for some reason they’re all missing!  I’ve gotta find something to catch for dinner before my bones disintegrate.

I’m so broke I don’t even need pockets. Fortunately I was able to pick up this based Vincent skeleton avatar over at Nut & Squirrel for just 1L.  If I had a brain, it would tell me that price is insane!  This is a unisex avatar, it works for everyone.  It comes with a full body alpha and the avatar and that’s that!  I did have to remove my teeth and ears and the alpha covered everything else.  When you land at Nut & Squirrel you’ll see a sign that is a TP board.  Choose ‘various’ and you’ll be teleported up to an area that has, well, various items. lol  If you use the link in this blogpost, you should land in the area.  In a purple bag on the ground, is the Vincent skeleton avatar.  You don’t need any group to buy it, just pay 1L and it’s yours.

Campy

I may not have found any campers to have for dinner over at Camp Syndicate, but I did pick up the tools I need to hunt for some.  Plus, a special touch to bring out my gentlemanly side. 😉  There are tons of free gifts at Camp Syndicate, and the Second Life Syndicate group is free to join.  These are a few things I brought home:

  • Free Hat by Eudora3D
  • Free Axe by [VOZ]
  • Free Butcher Knife by SSD (right or left hold and handle hud)

Camp Syndicate is open until November 9th, plenty of time yet to visit and shop.

Once I get some meat on my bones, I can fatten up with Halloween candy.  I’d really just prefer a nice rib-eye steak, if anyone is feeling generous. 😉

Planet Play

It’s essential we all find a little time for play in our busy lives, and my play often consists of playing dress-up (as you obviously know…).  My avatar, however… likes to dip her toe into the magical world of ball pools and potato chips.  I don’t know if the two necessarily mix together, but hey – we’re giving it a go.

Beached

The Beached Bunny Hunt is in full swing, and completely filled with awesome 1L prizes to search for.  You’re looking for a little green beach bucket, and you can find all the prizes and the hints right HERE.   I’m currently wearing two of the prizes – the first I got at Emerald Couture – and it’s this cute skirt (overall?) and top combo.  I like the grey jean effect that’s going on, and there’s a matching pair of shoes in the box, which I didn’t use.  I did however, pick up a pair of easy peasy sneakers over at Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes (which you can see in the pic below) that are in an appealing summery coral hue, sized for Slink, Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza & Classic Avatars.  Again, just 1L and a bit of hunting!  You’ve got until July 31st to hunt it out, so ya better hurry!

Unique And Expensive Mesh Head… For Free?

How many of us own this head but tried it but it looked anything but feminine with it?

Well, these days I’ve decided that I’ll try different heads and bodies for my posts. I like challenges although then I’m so busy I can’t really keep up with my primary tasks 😛

So this time I tried to fit the Strong mesh head by Genus project, which is great and free! The only thing you need to do is to join their group for free and click on the wall. Easy peasy! you have 4 gifts:  the head, couple of skins and a tattoo. So if you want to try a new style, give this one another chance, you wont look like everyone else, that is for sure. You will probably not like it at the beggining but if you try it with the right shape, everything changes.

The skin is also one of the group gifts on the wall ! I think it gives a lot to the look. It’s BOM and has different brows.

With All The right Angles On The Right Places

One month ago Mimitu had this 50L promo shape. So this month the promo is for a shape made specifically for Strong head. It makes you look confident, smart and full of life. Like a boss.

So you have one excuse less to not like this look. 🙂

With my new look I went to several events yesterday,  I went over to Sense event, joined the group (for free) and got one exclusive gift as they offer for every edition.

I may have mentioned I’m on vacation in RL, but when I have some downtime nothing pleases me more than putting a lewk together and showing off what I’ve found.  So even though I’m away for a few weeks, ya still can’t get rid of me!

The Weekend

Havoc is always spoiling us on weekends, and this weekend is no exception!  I nipped over there and picked up their weekend group gift – which is this lacy bodysuit.  To get yours, just join the Havoc group for free then click on the vendor which is located right in the middle of the sim near the landing point.  They’ve also got the next part of the Sunkissed Summer Hunt going on.  There are three prizes this week, all hidden in watermelons around the sim.  I’m showing off the wine glass gift which is  a perfect snack for days when you’re feeling a bit hoity-toity.

Anyway, Lueur has a couple of Christmas trees and underneath of them are 10 free mystery gifts. You’ll just need join the free group and then the gifts are all free.
