For today’s theme I decided to explore the world of fauna and flora from close by. Fascinating to see them in macro shots, life forms that we only taking for granted, as a part of day to day life. They are always there hovering in the background. Rarely we pay close attention to them (aside from those die hard plants and animal lovers and biology enthusiasts) I am always interested in life. It is my number one source of inspiration, the foundation of my writings. Here some images from my vast collection…

 I saw this orange ball floating in a canal near my home. I wonder to whom it belongs and why it ended up there.

And this is my first and forever love. I go weak in the knees whenever I see this little handsome fella 🙂

I love to walk in industrial terrain/park in the weekend. It’s vast, peaceful and quiet. And once in a while I come across wonderful surprises like this building which is devoid of any bright color except for the window on the top right and the lower left corner. Because of that, the added unexpected pop of red works so well against the dark background. Perfect for brightening an otherwise dark, cold, wet and dreary Spring.
