#PHP developer from Poland.
I rarely toot and if I do, I try to use English (with mixed results). I'm here to lurk, have nothing interesting to say, and just a quiet person overall.
My TODO list is long, and only keeps getting longer – "Ileż to razy w myślach osiągałem wszystko" seems to be my life motto.

Anyone got a referral link for #Hetzner I can use?
edit: Got one :)
I need to share this with the world – after 14 years I solved all tasks in "Net" category on TDHack.com (old polish site with hackmes, crackmes and similar stuff, that is somehow still active).
Years ago I was really into challenges like that, and managed to solve basically everything but the last hackme relatively quickly. It haunted me for years – I kept getting back to it from time to time with no luck.
And then, this week, I finally made some progress, and finished it within a few days.
I don't know what else to say, just wanted to brag about stuff that no one else cares about :D
Framework Laptop 13 arrived today – yay.
I can't get it to boot – boo.
I made a cabinet!
I needed some extra storage space and a place to keep a digital piano... so I just did it myself. It took a lot longer than I anticipated, but it's finally finished.
It's not perfect and a bit out of square, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Lots of firsts for me:
- First cabinet that I'll actually use in my apartment (all the previous ones sit in my workshop).
- Stained plywood (darker doors are accidental, but I think they actually look better that way).
- Edge banding.
- Lacquer applied with an HVLP spray gun.
- Hidden fasteners.
- Doors!
Done mostly using a track saw with parallel guides, a random orbital sander, and a drill (and some templates to position door hinges, holes for shelf pins and connectors).
Some mistakes were made, some things could be done better – but #woodworking is just a hobby for me, and I'll try to learn from this.
Taskmaster spoiler?
I'm watching the #taskmaster (S19E01) and wondering... why are lockpicks illegal in Poland? It would be so cool to be able to pick a lock.
After briefly migrating from fosstodon.org to 101010.pl, I decided to setup and move to my own instance.
This instance runs on my NAS – it's not the most powerful piece of hardware, but at least I don't have to worry about disk space.
I somehow managed to build a Docker image with a 32-bit ARM version of GoToSocial, which is not recommended – we'll see how it'll work.
And just to make my life a little bit harder – I built the image on the SteamDeck (as I don't have a laptop – I really should change that).
