About me
Hi, my name is Jana Lehmann. I live with my husband and three sweet kids in Stuttgart, Germany. I’m a Stay at Home mom and in my spare time (when I’m not too tired) I love to be creative. Mostly I play with polymer clay but sewing or paper crafting are favourite activities too. I know polymer clay for more than 10 years, it wasn’t love at the first sight because I was also busy with other creative materials. I made little figurines and magnets, I tried to make some millefiori canes and other little things – beginner’s stuff. One day I had to decide for just one material because of financial reasons (it’s very expensive if you want to empty a whole craft store) and I chose polymer clay. I started to explore the world of polymer clay in the internet, and after I bought a pasta machine and a Dremel tool I had more possibilities to play and then I fell in love with this fascinating material. My first brand was Fimo Soft, later Fimo Classic but now I prefer to work with Pardo Professional Art Clay. I love colors, stripes, circles, dots, stamps, glitter, smooth shapes, colorful toys, scrapbooking, 60’s style – all these things are inspiration or tools for my work.

I love your work. I lived in Heidelberg for three and one half years from 99 – 2003 and really enjoyed the culture, people and lovely country there. Oder ich wohnen im heidelberg for drei jahre. That is about the German I have retained, as i dont use it now.

hallo Jana
gestern habe ich dich auf der liste von polymer clay daily entdeckt. ich bin aus dem staunen nicht mehr raus gekommen! ich spiele erst seit kurzem mit Fimo. ja es ist erst ein spielen, aber als ich deine wunderbaren wunderschönen arbeiten gesehen habe, will ich es richtig lernen! ich wohne in Zürich, schweiz und wundere mich ob du auch hier mal kurse gibst.
ich möchte so von dir lernen!

Hallo Jana
Habe Deine Arbeiten schon mehrmals bewundert. Finde sie suuuuper!!! So frische Farben… einfach eine Pracht.
Jetzt habe ich eine Frage betreffend einen Armband, ist so schwarz/weiss gestreift und mit schwarzen Blumen. Hast Du den noch… oder bereits verkauft. Würde mich sehr dafür intressieren…! Du kannst mir ja eine Mail schreiben mit Preis und so weiter.
Vielen Dank. Wünsche Dir weiter so kreative Ideen und wer weiss vielleicht sieht man sich ja mal bei einem Workshop… Muss noch viel lernen….!! ;-))

Darf ich dich Fragen wie du deine Polymer Masse so glatt hinbekommst und wie du das machst mit den Stempeln und der ofentrocknenden Farbe?
