What are you thankful for this year? Second Life Bloggers, a group on Facebook is having a contest, just simply blog and tell the world what you are most thankful for.

I have quite a few things to be thankful of. From the little things like I’m improving my pictures, my blog traffic is going up, my roo’s are giving me good babies…alrighty I know, thats not much to be thankful for, thats more things that makes me happy. But then on to the bigger things like I have some absolutely awesome friends I love to bits, I still kinda have my health, my 15 year old cat is still doing quite well, I have a place to live, food to eat, clean water to drink. From all the little things to the big things.

However, it still took me close to two days to figure out how, and what, to write in this post. Not because I didn’t know what to write about, but because I don’t want it to sound silly.

What I want to write about..and what I am most thankful for, is that woman posing with me here. I can think of no other person I can say “Oi, put your new pants on and come pose with me topless” at 3 am to. A lot has happened over the years I’ve know her, both good and bad for both of us, and she has always been at my side, never further away then an instant message, a message on skype or a simple text, just as I have been for her. She picks me up when I’m down, makes me laugh when I need it and is all too happy to goof off with me when we are both up way to late to be quite sane. While she may constantly be busy working with her store and trying to make sense of our meeroos, she always has a second over to listen.

Quite simply put, she my best friend and I love her to bits. She is the most loving, caring and generous person I have met and I wish everyone could have a friend like her. I’ll just stop here before it gets all mushy and lovey-dovey or she will spank me when I get back online >.>

Kinu, I am thankful, grateful even, to be able to call you my friend. Never let me go indeed.
