[blackbird, fly] recent anawangin trip by filmlakay

For Jessie’s birthday, we went on a road trip to Anawangin. Last year, it was March, and there were around 5 other tents around us. This time, we went earlier thinking that everyone’s gonna be in Baguio for the Flower Festival — but no, there were at LEAST 20 other groups in Anawangin =.= But we had fun all the same.

I found this photo while I was browsing through the folders in my laptop. I was attempting to clean the clutter I made during the past year. If I remember correctly, this photo was among the first fisheye2 shots jessie took. 🙂 I can’t recall what type of color film used for this but I definitely know where this was taken – cinemalomo 2007 at cubao x!

I miss my Jessie…

In Baguio, it’s pretty hard to get nice lighting due to unpredictable fogging. During this trip, in addition to that, clouds were overcast – so when the sun peeked, I just kept on shooting. I love how this batch turned out!

[Vivitar UW&S] The BW Experiment by filmfish

I mentioned a few days back that we were trying on some new film. Here are some portraits from my first BW roll (ever) used on the Vivitar UW&S.THe Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim they say produces photos similar to Lomo’s LCA, but I wouldn’t know cause we don’t have one. But basically it’s just point and shoot.

This experiment used Kodak BW CN400 which is a C41 processed film, so no more waiting for 2 weeks til the developers finish.

And this is Ayisse.

I’m so impressed with myself, if I may say so XD Please check back again soon, as I will be uploading more from this batch. My hot bath awaits! Please tell us about your experiences too! SO many cameras, so many films, ahh so little time.

| smena 8m | up diliman | holy week ’08 | expired fuji superia 100 film |

Kidadoblog left me a meme to fill up. 🙂 here goes

Six things about myself.

  1. My parents called me up this year, now that I’m 24, to tell me they have accepted the fact that i’m inherently nocturnal and that even as a child they are unable to put me to bed.
  2. I hate being alone, but I don’t always want to be interactive. (Maybe I should get a dog when I/we move to a new city.)
  3. I have been the biggest japanophile in high school that i’d buy any magazine that said japan on it.
  4. I attempted to teach myself chinese in high school, didn’t work. hahahaha.
  5. My dream job is to be a book shopper.
  6. it’s very easy to bribe me into doing things: chocolate (or any kind of food)
