"Hello everyone, welcome back. It’s Firefly speaking.
So as Stellar mentioned in the first half, part of this project is looking at what’s difficult to look at. And some of it is investigating history. But a big component of this is healing, and to offer healing for self, and for lineage, and for community.
And so this next song is an original. I wrote it about a year ago when I was coming out of a couple of year period of just, a very difficult personal situation in my life at the time. And this song was deep healing medicine for me.
And so I offer it as a healing song for this project, and for anybody who happens to be listening.
It’s called Mosaic."

Healing won’t be hurried, release and forgive
Anxiety comes when I turn away from the gifts of darkness
Once again fear gets in my face and says: “I’ll show you all the cracks
If you don’t sacrifice for what you want, what you want will be taken instead”

Sometimes I wonder if I write poetry instead of praying cause I’m lazy
But the beingness of life is so beautiful it aches sometimes
Once again love shows me the way and says: “it’s okay to relax
If you have an offering you can let it spill from your eyes behind the mask”
