springtime

we appropriated our angels some liberty to indulge with a bit of freeform embellishing for this wedding ceremony at a private residence in Ampang. we aimed to impress upon them the spirit of spontaneity lest we bore them silly with constant pre-plans and what-nots. the resulting pelamin exceeded our prudish expectation and readily reminded us of Seurat's depiction of that particular season somewhere in France.

curly fries

as for dessert, we serve you a tray of freshly picked roses, eustomas and brassicas stuffed with hydrangeas and a light sprinkling of cymbidiums. don't forget to remove those wiry woody accents lest you end up with a severe case of indigestion, darling.

festive fruits

yes, it has been a while since we posted anything fruit-related. not that there's been a lull in demand but we've just been so occupied with occasion upon occasion. so today, we'll serve you two fruit-flavored arrangements to facilitate your digestion of yesterday's beef rendang and lemang.

light hors d'oeuvre

today, we are serving a dainty portion of fluffy hydrangeas in lilac and green, mixed with crunchy roses in baby pink and ivory, and garnished with succulent cymbidiums in green, all served up in a chic decorative tin vessel in chocolate and gold. feel free to browse our menu for the main course.

sinful

we love working with clients who have a wicked sense of adventure because it would allow us to go wild with our thoughts. this was the case with a client last weekend. without anything to do with LSD but having a lot of SJP in mind, she commissioned us to create a classical look for her pelamin reminiscing a page out of Vogue. it involved a truckload of hydrangeas in delicious pastel shades, pouring down from a vintage Channel flap bag-inspired wall, upon a sensuous white divan fit for a diva.

on the dining deck especially built for the occasion, we continued the theme with white canopies under which we hung crystal chandeliers and black-lined white curtains tied back into graceful butterflies. below, we arranged the tables covered in white with cream tactile floral overlays. and around each dining table, drum-roll please, we premiered our beautiful black chiavari chairs.

from the farm

for a day-long refreshing experience, have a box of our freshly gathered blooms in three cozy hues and one neutral tone: roses in pink, hydrangea in lilac, statices in purple, callas and dendrobiums in white; all decked out with kiwi leaves and dusty millers upon an ash grey box embellished with baby blue and white lace ribbons.

futile resistance

from picking the choicest fruits and the freshest flowers, to choosing the most appropriate vessel to contain them, and to finally juxtaposing them in the best composition, paying close attention to detail and proportions along the way, we make the best possible floral creations for all our clients. with all the love, care and passion that we shower our creations with, apart from the imagination, creativity and skills to begin with, how could we not fall in love with them? yet, like many instances in life, sometimes we have to part with the things we love.

ye olde english

the english are renown for having a stiff upper lip. but we're not english and we love drama in our floral arrangements. here, we started off with a very plain english box to contain a dainty array of rose blooms and hydrangeas. boring! so, we added the orchids, succulents and dusty millers. now, you may laugh and cry, darling.

gorgeous grub

of course we’re not talking about those wiggly treats from Sarawak but we are referring to this delectable arrangement we created for a client who wished to give away not only an ocular treat but something to chew on as well. so, we placed cute ribboned boxes of bite-sized treats into a rectangular mirrored vase and arranged equally cute posies of our favourite blooms all snug and cousin-close in between. here's another treat you can sink your teeth into, darling.

stately arrangements

last Monday, we had the honor of decorating the Seri Perdana in Putra Jaya. our prime minister and his wife hosted a banquet to honor the royal entourage from Norway and we were commissioned to provide a floral grace to the stately affair.

fat and fantastic

in flower arrangements, we believe that fatter is better! we are talking about the flowers, darling, the plant kind. flowers are meant to draw attention. so, what better way to be noticed than to be as big as possible. which is why we love to use fat fluffy blooms in our arrangements like the ones we are featuring today. just look at those fluffy hydrangeas, ominous roses and succulent cymbidiums! don't they just make you want to eat them?!
