Empowering First Graduate College Students

Coach 3.0 is a yearlong coaching initiative connecting First Graduate college students with dedicated volunteers passionate about supporting them through their crucial first year of college. Throughout the academic year, coaches and students cultivate genuine relationships aimed at fostering perseverance and guiding them towards college graduation.

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

  • Coaches will assist their students in devising a work plan, pinpointing campus resources, and providing guidance on strategies to support them in their academic journey. 
  • Coaches and students arrange a monthly check-in using a virtual platform (such as Google Hangout, Skype, FaceTime), in-person (if feasible), or via phone.
  • Additionally, coaches will cultivate genuine relationships with their students, serving as sources of motivation and guidance to keep them on track toward college graduation.

Commitment: Coaches are required to commit for the entire academic school year (August 2025 - May 2026).
