F.P.G.

In early 1993 "Puh" (Anton Pavlov) emerged into a non-stop alcohol bender with the people, who later became the first band members of F.P.G. After 2 years of booze-ups the F.P.G. had their first gig, it was in spring, 1995. "Jesus" ("Chjornyj Kul'tprosvet") invited them to the stage, while the sound engineer went out to the toilet. "Jesus" was on drums. The second song ended quickly since the electricity was cut off as soon as the sound engineer came back from the toilet. In autumn, 1995 "Mjakish" (Aleksej Lozhkin) took over the drummer's duties in the band. Then there was a long-long period of non-stop booze-ups again. It was only when the guitarist "Dimastyj" (Dmitrij Seleznjov) joined the band in 1996, that the musicians got a little bit sober. In 1997 "Gerasim" (Vladimir Gurenko) was taken as a bass-player into the band..... As there appeared the musicians, enthusiastic and ready to work hard on themselves, it was possible to start giving concerts in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod as well as in the neighbouring towns (Dzerzhinsk, Arzamas, Pavlovo) and later on - in the capital. Such bands as "Chjornyj Kul'tprosvet" (now "CheKul'tura" in Saint-Petersburg) and "Elizium" played an important role in promotion of the band and set the stage for its concerts, both literally and figuratively.
