Two massive test rigs, one goal: certifying the #A350F's unique loading capabilities! ✈️📦 The operational heart of our #NewGenFreighter lies in its ability to secure and protect up to 111 tonnes of payload. To test this unique capacity, Airbus teams in Bremen, Germany, are going big with a full-scale 24 metre "Cargo Zero" replica of the cargo hold and a 20 tonne main deck cargo door demonstrator. Find out how these tests help achieve certification readiness and industrial maturity ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ekdcbyNU

BREAKING NEWS! 📢 AirAsia has just made history by placing an order for 150 A220s ✈️ - the largest firm order for the aircraft type to date! The agreement makes AirAsia a new customer for the A220 and also the launch customer for the aircraft's new up to 160-passenger cabin configuration. Combining low operating costs with the range that enables AirAsia to open new routes across the continent, the A220 will efficiently complement its all #Airbus fleet, playing a key role in the airline's network growth strategy.

It is #WorldPilotsDay! 👨✈️ To those who keep the world moving, connecting people and goods across the globe: thank you! And a special salute to #Airbus Flight Test teams: pilots, engineers and experts who push boundaries. Did you know Airbus has its own Flight Test School? That’s where flight test pilots and engineers work hand in hand to develop and test new technologies and rigorous safety standards, making sure a production aircraft is cleared for takeoff. The 2026 class includes French astronaut Thomas Pesquet and Andrea Grande, who took the time to answer a couple of our questions! Check it out 👇

Air Canada has taken delivery of its first #A321XLR - sporting the perfect registration: C-GXLR! ✈️ This is the first of 30 aircraft to join the fleet, making Air Canada the launch operator of the Xtra-Long Range in the country. 🇨🇦 Combining single-aisle efficiency with widebody comfort, the A321XLR supports Air Canada's fleet modernisation and network expansion, strategically bridging the gap between its short-haul narrow-body and long-haul twin-aisle operations. Inside, its two-cabin layout features the premium #Airspace cabin, with modern in-flight entertainment, Bluetooth audio, larger overhead bins and ambient lighting designed to minimise jet lag.

Making accessibility truly accessible 💺 For people living with a disability, flying comes with many compromises. Currently, wheelchair users are frequently required to leave their personal chairs at the aircraft door. In US airports alone, more than 10,000 personal chairs are damaged every year, a significant issue given how vital they are for everyday mobility. Introducing the #Airspace U Suite, a concept that enables passengers to remain in their own personal wheelchairs throughout the flight, secured directly to the cabin floor. Read how this concept can bring true independence to passengers with reduced mobility and even more options for airlines ➡️ https://lnkd.in/edmguPJr

Did you know that up to 3.6 million tonnes of cabin food is wasted annually? 🥗 With up to 20% of meals going untouched, we have developed Smart Catering, an AI-driven solution that can help airlines reduce cabin food waste by tracking consumption and unused items transparently, as well as provide fleet-wide catering intelligence, real-time stock management and location status for crews. An optimised approach for both passenger and crew. Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eFxyFnhP

The future of aviation is more than connectivity, it’s intelligence ✈️ Today, passengers want a connection 'just like at home', while airlines need instant operational visibility and performance optimisation. With HBCplus, #Airbus is moving beyond in-flight Wi-Fi to a flexible, multi-orbit ecosystem, integrating LEO, MEO and GEO satellites into a single, modular backbone. The result? Instant visibility for operations, zero friction for passengers and lower costs for the future. Airlines are no longer just selling aircraft seats, but rather unlocking a seamless world-wide connected experience for their passengers.
