Our latest expert blog is the first of a three-part series: The Pharma Convergence. It explores how TechBio’s data-first model challenges long-standing R&D norms… and what pharma leaders can learn. The biggest differences show up across three pillars: 1. People: Siloed specialists vs. integrated, cross‑functional teams 2. Process: Sequential, hypothesis‑led workflows vs. AI‑driven learning cycles 3. Technology: Fragmented systems vs. data as a core strategic asset For the authors, Alex Aliper (Insilico Medicine), Ivana Knyght, Justin Melnick, Anoushka Ambrose, and Juhi Singh ,the message is clear: speed now comes from integration, not optimization. 👉 Read the full blog to understand how TechBio is reshaping pharma R&D: https://bit.ly/48ZEqoH And stay tuned for part two on AI and digitization for early drug development. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆? Scaling the bioeconomy isn’t just about investing in new technologies, it’s about how systems work together. Capgemini is proud to be a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum. At Davos earlier this year, we took the opportunity to speak with Basma AlBuhairan, PhD from C4IR Saudi Arabia. As an active contributor to the Forum’s Bioeconomy initiative, Basma shares practical insights from her experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hear her views on why alignment across policy, capital, regulation and industry is critical to move from pilots to commercially viable solutions. What does bio-innovation mean for industry? The bioeconomy is no longer a future concept, it’s already changing how we grow food, develop materials and create more resilient supply chains. Capgemini is a proud strategic partner of the World Economic Forum. At Davos earlier this year, we took the opportunity to speak with Brynne Stanton from the World Economic Forum and Michele Stansfield from Cauldron Ferm, both active members of the Bioeconomy Initiative. Hear their perspectives on the most exciting opportunities in bio-innovation, why collaboration is essential, and where biology can deliver real value at scale. For the KION Group, nearly 20% of emissions stemmed from purchased goods and services, making procurement a critical lever for change. Together, we initiated a project to ensure data became an enabler to long-term sustainability goals by: - Conducting a feasibility study to identify supply chain decarbonization levers and set KION’s 2050 net‑zero target. - Holding supplier workshops to assess maturity, improve emissions transparency, and define category‑level decarbonization plans. - Embedding emissions data into procurement processes and training teams to support net‑zero decision‑making. This helped shift procurement from reporting emissions to actively steering them. See how this transformation is turning ambition into measurable progress: https://bit.ly/4sfzC5t

2026 is the year of truth for AI. At #Know26, our very own Claudia Crummenerl and ServiceNow’s Eric Schnorr explored this shift at booth #2401. The conversation has clearly moved beyond experimentation. Clients are now asking tougher, value-driven questions: - How do you drive real value from AI? - How do you scale beyond proofs of concept? - How do you make human-AI interaction work across the enterprise? One powerful idea explored: treating autonomous AI workers much like human employees: onboarding them, integrating them, and embedding them into business operations. That’s where real impact happens in the interaction between humans and AI. This is no longer just about IT. It’s about connecting front office, back office, and operations into one intelligent business hub. Together with ServiceNow, this is how AI is being made real at enterprise scale: https://bit.ly/4cWCTlO

The future of industry isn’t human or machine; it’s human and machine working side by side at scale. As AI agents move from tools to collaborators, the nature of work is being reshaped. Roles evolve. Skills shift. And human potential is amplified. This is human-AI chemistry. In Issue 01 of The Scale Effect, we explore how organizations are building AI-enabled workforces that combine human judgment with machine intelligence to unlock productivity, resilience, and growth. Explore what human–AI chemistry really means for the workforce: https://bit.ly/4rqBI1Q #TheScaleEffect #TransformationAtScale #MakeItReal
