ALAÏA DENIM A subtle tension emerges between structure and softness, control and ease. With this new line, Alaïa approaches denim as a second skin, a material that holds, shapes, and follows every curve, embracing the body with precision and sensuality. Made in Japan, the denim is crafted through a precise and authentic approach to fabrication. Developed over the course of one year of research and refinement, each piece reflects an exacting approach to construction, where purity and simplicity converge towards a singular idea: the perfect fit. Rooted in the House’s enduring vision of femininity, this line proposes six essential shapes: Bootcut, Straight, Skinny, Palazzo, Fit and Flare, and Round. Photographed by Sam Rock on long-time friend of the House Mona Tougaard, the Alaïa denim line is an expression of intimacy, strength and enduring beauty. À propos
Since 1964, Alaïa is a legendary Parisian Couture Maison, which, beyond fashion, reveals the power of femininity and the timelessness of beauty in the spirit of its namesake creator. Open to inspiration from all cultures and artistic fields, the free and uncompromising mind of Azzedine Alaia still imbues the Maison’s invention in all things. At its heart, the ateliers perpetuate Alaïa's pioneering approach to the body as sculpture; crafting through fabric, cut, and silhouettes, limitless interpretations of a woman's beauty. Mythical creations that move from day to evening are sculpted in innovative materials and in its legendary knit. They reflect both allure and comfort, structure and fluidity, as an ode to a universal femininity.

Minimal, pure, essential. Stripped back, reduced to the very essence of Alaïa. The Summer Fall 26 collection, presented on March 4 in Paris, is a reflection both on and of Azzedine’s work, marked with traces of Pieter Mulier - the passage of his time at the House. Portraits of Keizo Kitajima of the people who created this collection are installed as part of the scenography. This collection is itself a portrait of Alaïa. Alaïa introduces the new Winter Spring 26 campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel. Building on the philosophy of the collection itself, the campaign is reduced, sculptural, and powerful. No noise, just beauty. The purity of the setting, the absence of ornament, and the deliberate repetition of a single composition place the body and the garments at the centre of the image. A fundamental reduction becomes a method of accessing timelessness. More than a campaign, this series is an act of image-making, almost like a craft. Images intended to be remembered. Images of quality, not reality. Images made to invite dreaming. A moment of fashion, defined by timelessness. As is Meisel’s work and as is Alaïa. ALAÏA WINTER SPRING 26 ARCHETYPES The Winter Spring 2026 Archetypes collection represents the quintessence of the Alaïa wardrobe and the perfect expression of the Alaïa woman. It reinterprets the Maison’s codes and its vocabulary of dressing. Defined by sculptural volumes, architectural construction, and pure lines, this collection reflects Pieter Mulier’s vision of powerful and raw beauty, while showcasing Alaïa’s exceptional savoir-faire. To capture these fundamental codes and Alaïa’s architectural approach to design, the campaign introduces a new visual language. Through a series of videos shot by Shayne Laverdière, it offers an immersive and dynamic encounter with the clothes. More than imagery, this campaign acts as a 360-degree study of the Alaïa silhouette. An ode to women. The epitome of Pieter Mulier’s vision of femininity. Somewhere between strength and vulnerability. Discover more on maison-alaia.com

ALAÏA WINTER SPRING 26 The Alaïa Winter Spring 26 collection was presented at the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain. “This collection is reduced, sculptural. Precise. Yet there is also an extremity to it, in heightened colours, bold shapes. Uncompromising. There is a feel of uniform - the uniform of Azzedine himself inspired, its function and pragmatism. I’m fascinated by the idea of tension, which feels relevant for today. There is a literal tension, a torsion, clothes are drawn around the body. The sculpture is pulled against the skin - there is a sense, always, of the woman’s body within, moving, alive” – Pieter Mulier. ALAÏA SUMMER FALL 25 The Summer Fall 25 campaign was conceived intentionally as a film, with this idea of movement, fundamental to Alaïa. Through Tyrone Lebon’s lens, Loli Bahia and Nastassia Legrand appear simultaneously as characters in a film or a novel, and as the quintessence of the Alaïa woman. Amidst landscapes so untamed they feel almost otherworldly, the Summer Fall 25 campaign is the first in the Maison’s history to be shot entirely outdoors, on the northern shores of France, between Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez. The photographs seem to belong to an imaginary geography. A time out of time. They transcend any fixed notion of era or place, evoking many histories at once. Composed like stills, like fragments of a story caught in time, the images are accompanied by videos directed by Frank Lebon. Like the collection itself, the campaign mirrors what lies at the core of Alaïa: how history and historicity can be used to create something timeless. And profoundly modern.
