They cover the entire project lifecycle, from tendering to delivery. Their mission is to develop key skills and coordinate the sharing of best practice on an international scale. 📌 Zaragoza, #Spain: A centre specialising in the comprehensive design of new rolling stock (#wagons and #locomotives) as well as the retrofitting and modernisation of existing fleets. Its expertise encompasses #industrialisation, systems, subsystems and #TCMS, as well as electrical and electromechanical integration for all types of trains. 📌 Derby, #UnitedKingdom: A centre dedicated to the testing and commissioning of complete fleets – from subsystems to entire trains. This centre provides essential added value through root cause analysis, real-time modifications and expert recommendations on #design and processes, from initial analysis through to final acceptance. 📌 Vado Ligure, #Italy: Specialising in #signalling and the roll-out of the #ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System), this Centre of Excellence oversees the entire modernisation cycle for trains and locomotives with a view to ensuring fleet interoperability on European Class A and Class B networks. Joining the Trappes site in 2000, he continued his journey when Matra’s engineering activities joined SEGULA in 2009, rising to become Program Director at SEGULA Technologies today. He recalls a lean, flat structure where authority stemmed from competence rather than job titles. A place where a junior engineer could challenge management if their idea held water. Where vehicles were designed from a blank sheet of paper, at pace, with the ambition to redefine standards rather than follow them. Mathias finds this exact mindset at SEGULA today: the same agility, the same ability to deliver bespoke solutions, and above all, that rare "complete vehicle" culture, from initial #design through to #industrialisation. “What continues to live on through the SEGULA teams is a deep commitment to technical quality and genuine day-to-day flexibility.” More than a legacy, it is a way of thinking about engineering. Thanks to gyroscopic stabilisation, two vehicles can pass each other on a single track. A flexible, low-carbon solution to reconnect remote areas and revive minor lines. 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒: contactless, remote monitoring of the driver's heart rate and breathing. By isolating these vital signals from the noise of the cab, the system helps prevent drowsiness and sudden illness in real time, with very few false alerts. 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐂𝐎: smart video processing that combines two cameras to predict the path of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. A way to anticipate danger and avoid a collision before it happens. Am avut plăcerea de a însoți elevii aflați în practică într-o vizită de studiu la două locații importante ale grupului SEGULA Technologies din județul Argeș: SEGULA Testing & Validation din Ștefănești și SEGULA Integration România din Mioveni. La SEGULA Testing & Validation, elevii au avut ocazia să descopere procesele complexe de testare și validare a sistemelor și componentelor utilizate în industria auto, înțelegând importanța calității, siguranței și inovării în dezvoltarea produselor. La SEGULA Integration România, elevii au descoperit procesele prin care sunt realizate prototipuri, echipamente și piese speciale pentru industriile auto și aerospațială, având ocazia să vadă îndeaproape aplicarea practică a ingineriei și a tehnologiilor moderne de fabricație. Elevii au fost foarte încântați de experiență, de profesionalismul echipelor care i-au primit și de oportunitatea de a vedea direct cum sunt aplicate în industrie cunoștințele dobândite în cadrul pregătirii lor. Vizită din partea Facultății de Inginerie Industrială și Robotică – University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest Ne bucurăm să anunțăm vizita unor cadre didactice de la Facultatea de Inginerie Industrială și Robotică din cadrul facultății Naționale de Știință și Tehnologie Politehnica București (UNSTPB), la sediul SEGULA Technologies. Vizita a avut ca scop grija parcursului a doi studenți exceptionali din anul III, aflați atat în programul nostru de practică desfășurat în perioada 24 iunie – 8 septembrie 2026 cat si intr-un program european sprijinit de Ministerul Invatamantului. A fost o ocazie excelentă de a discuta despre progresul lor, despre dezvoltarea cunoștințelor in soft-urile noastre de proiectare, despre proiectele la care contribuie și despre modul în care colaborarea dintre mediul academic și cel industrial poate sprijini formarea viitorilor ingineri. Mulțumim profesorilor pentru vizită și studenților noștri practicanți pentru implicare și seriozitate! 🎓⚙️

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞!  “He tries things we no longer dare to do because of our routines.” This quote from GILLES PARXES, Team Manager at SEGULA Technologies, perfectly sums up the strength of his duo with Timothee Perrin, a digital simulation work-study student. Since they started working together, they have been inspiring each other daily. Gilles shares his experience, his rigour, and what he calls the fight spirit : that drive to never give up and to take pride in the work achieved. Meanwhile, Timothée brings a fresh perspective, asks questions, explores different approaches… and pushes the team to step outside their comfort zone. Timothée also emphasizes how his colleagues' experience allows him to learn faster, gain confidence, and progress every single week. When asked where he sees himself in a few years' time, his answer is immediate: becoming a mentor himself.
