The world is caught off guard with each moment. It either captures that moment for what it truly is or it recycles an old memory to put in its place. A present moment judged through the lens of the past belongs to those who are half dead. What would it be like to live on the edge of your seat for each moment? Like sitting on the edge of time, rocking on a dancing star as if it were an illuminated chair. High in the sky, spread through the expanse of the universe where everything seems a bit more clear. Pulsating with every living thing all at once.
Christians have wrongfully adopted the name Church solely for themselves. The Body of Christ extends much further than those confines. It extends to the ends of the earth, made up by the participation of all of humanity. It is not made up by the make up of ‘Christian values’ it is made up by the reality of resurrection which raised everything that was fallen up. A name or a nod could not put this into motion, only God could. All are included. All are included.
The Gospel is an invitation to a feast not an announcement that the world will become slaughtered chicken burnt to a crisp. If that’s what these so called preachers want then let them have there burnt chicken to eat but not on account of the world. They can pay for it out of there own pocket. The rest of the world will enjoy the feast of a lifetime and not with welches to drink but intoxicating wine.
I was swept off my feet when the rug was pulled out from under me. My head hit the floor and I flew away. I scaled every high cliff and mountain and glided above every sea. The world took on a new form from what I had previously known and seen. It was good. Really good.
