Christ represents the infinite tearing into the finite. An awakening to true nature and being. Our lives are an incarnation. God, human, and all existence as one.
We are washed by this wondrous love Union. It crashes down upon us, within us, every single day. Fear is self-inflicted punishment. Love devours that self hatred.
The gap is widening, the borders stretching. The whole world is being knocked off of its rocker onto the floorboard of higher consciousness. That old wooden chair has confined us long enough, we have been rocked to sleep by myths and fairy tales that have seeped into our reality and plagued our thought life. We have been in a comatose state and have constructed days that aren’t filled with any real daylight at all; in fact we have constructed a coffin of darkness. We have buried ourselves into the cold arms of death. The church has fueled this; the government has fueled this – look at what foundation our present has been built on. It’s time for an awakening, a being shaken up from our delusions and sleep. We have been breathing in the air of a false rigged reality far too long.
Paying the price isn’t a ceremony of self sacrifice, it is the reality of discovering true worth that is already ours and within us. Reach inward and lay hold of it.
It isn’t about line after line of what resides on each page but about the single pearl hidden within. It is enough to toss away the book completely for what is now laid hold of is the discovery of the ages. This was the point all along, the treasure, not the ‘chest’, the only use of the chest was to be a vehicle and capsule for the treasure.
For ages we’ve read each page without light, by the darkness of our self attempts at understanding. In reality, the inside of the pages are so bright. Look within; look beyond, see the glistening pearl; see everything for the first time. The pages were but a shadow but now we see the full picture.
The fishermen left what they knew behind to KNOW. What they once knew paled in comparison to what, at that present moment, they had come to know. They discovered themselves and a new world in the very presence of revelation. The present moment was alive, everything that occurred previously was nothing but a mere shadow.
God chose not to dwell in doctrines or in ideas but in the life of a living person. He doesn’t tabernacle staked down to the ground. He sets up camp in the mobility, progression, and evolution of human lives.
“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out”
The Divines eyes stare right back at us. We see our identity and reality by their reflection. Lost in deep waters of every color, ecstatically bright and lit up.
