Faith Sees
A lot of the time we have believed that we are to walk by blindness when it comes to faith.
I love these simple few words that Francois Du Toit has coined.
“Faith isn’t blind. Faith sees!”
The truth is faith has a vision of its own. It feasts even in the midst of famine and celebrates even in the midst of sorrows and chaos. It doesn’t live by denial but by a different reality. It sees light in darkness and redemption in loss. It is wonderfully divine.
Belief
Belief has a different sound to it. You can recognize its substance and personality when you have a run in with it.
Heart At Home
A foreign heart beats with fear and horror. Always fearing loss and death. A heart at home trusts even in the worst case scenario. It sleeps peacefully at night.
Wide In Wonder
Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light (Matthew 6:22 MSG)
Destiny’s Authority
When we are concerned by what another thinks or judges we give them authority to interpret our present. They call the shots and we listen. We are then under their authority and not our destiny’s.
Faith Reflects Life
If faith isn’t evolving and growing than it isn’t faith in anything living but rather it is faith in just an idea.
Faith, Cause, and Evolution
Faith is beautiful and having a cause is beneficial but leaving room for evolution is the mystery of life. Life is constant in unveiling itself in new measures and new forms. To enjoy the ride most fully we must go with the spirit of life where it wishes to take us and be shocked and scandalized into new levels and experiences throughout different seasons.
