An Eagle in His Eye

I love it when the clouds have eyes.  This one was especially special, because there is a huge bird in his eye.  The idea made me laugh--no wonder that cloud is squinting!

Have a lovely weekend!

Another Square Cloud

Here is a neatly squarish cloud with circle inside of it.  I captured it with my camera on this past week.   It always boggles my mind to see straight lines in the clouds--and that perfectly centered circle is fun, too.

Have a great day!

Purple Blue Cloud Heart -SkyWatch Friday

Yesterday there were the most amazing clouds--like a patterned mosaic across the sky.  There's a heart there, but also a baby face.  What do you see?

Flying Heart -Guest Heart Thursday

Isn't this heart wonderful?  I can also see an angel, or a big harp!  What do you see?

Have a lovely weekend and happy Guest Heart Thursday

Rainbow Heart

It almost looks as though there was an angelic Cherub holding that glowing heart in her hands.  I thought it was quite beautiful, almost miraculous.  I was entranced by the rainbow colors edging that beautiful little sky heart.

Sky Cat and a Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

I laughed when I spotted this heart in the skies.  If you look closely, with the eyes of a child's imagination, you can see not only a heart--but a smiling kitty cat, who's obviously intrigued.

Easter Bunny Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

Can you see the heart?  And can you see the Easter Bunny?  The heart is his ears.  I thought this to be very appropriate for Easter and Guest Heart Thursday!

Star Cloud

I have taken some of my best cloud formations out the backdoor--this one is no exception.  One bright rare bright morning I was amazed to see this star shaped hole in the clouds.  I was so grateful I had my camera with me, because it was gone in an instant.

Surreal Circle

There's something magical about this photo--a Surreal Circle.  In my imagination I see a porthole to another world.  (grin)  I am continually amazed by the beauty and strange shapes one can find in the skies.

Have a wonderful week.  Keep looking up!

Kitty Eyes

Out and about last week, I felt like I was being watched!  Sure enough -- glancing into the sky, I surprised these kitty eyes.  I think she winked just after I took her photo.

Motley Square

I was in awe the night this Motley Square cloud floated across the skies, just as the sun lowered behind the hilltops.

Face in the clouds

Last week my attention was instantly captured by this triangle-ish cloud.  The interesting thing is the face finder in my camera zeroed in on what appears to be a face--can you see her?  She's either a cat, or an elf.  I can't decide which.

What do you think?

Wolf - Pink Saturday

I clicked this picture as the sun set over the back fence.  To me it looks like a wolf with, yes, pink eyes.  Can you see him?  I think, though he is fierce--he's most likely friendly.

Happy Pink Saturday to all.  For more wonderful things in pink, visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound--just click the picture below to join in the fun.

Puff Cloud Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

It seems I catch some of the most unusual clouds just over the back fence.  You will see that cedar tree a lot in my photography.  I loved this puffy heart.  It looks like a pillow an angel might like to snuggle into.

Circular

I took this photo over the fence in the alley outside the kitchen door.  I was amazed at the perfection of this circle.

Heart over Tree - Guest Heart Thursday

Last summer I was strolling out in the back yard, when I happened to glance up--there to my amazement was a perfect heart imprint in the clouds.  As always I had my camera with me, so I snapped a picture of this floating beauty!

Heart of the Fireworks - Guest Heart Thursday

Every year our little town puts on a spectacular fireworks show for the Fourth of July.  I was astounded to catch this heart cloud lingering in the sparkle of fireworks.  I did not touch this amazing photograph up in any way.

Baseball in the Sky?

When I headed out to weed in the garden, I did a double take--a giant ball was floating overhead.  Of course, I had my camera by my side and clicked several photos before it bounced on its way across the skies.

If we believed as the Greeks and Romans, we might have thought the god's were playing a game of baseball?  You can almost see a giant hand grasping the ball in this picture!

What on Earth is THAT?!

I was singing to the birds one lazy summer afternoon--then noticed a cloud had turned to look at me.  And with only one eye.

Shiny Heart in the Sky - Guest Heart Thursday

I am constantly amazed by the imagery found in the skies.  Last week I happened to catch this glowing heart as it drifted over the back fence.  If you look closely, you can find an even smaller heart within the larger one.
