Heart in Sunset - Pink Saturday
The colors to be found in clouds at sunset and sunrise are amazing to me. Here is a sunset photo filled with pinks, purples, blue and gold. If you look closely--you can see a triangle softly imbedded in the clouds.
Have a beautiful day--may your lives be filled with color and wonder.

Pink Sphere
A few weeks ago, my Friend Peggy and I, on our way home spotted the most amazing Sunset. There was even a pink rainbow--which, because of the darkness of the hour, didn't come out.
We were both amazed by this sphere shape in the clouds. This is a pale representation of what it looked like in real life.

Sunset Heart - Guest Heart Thursday
On our way back from out of town, the sunset was so soft and lovely my husband and I stopped at the Baskett Slough Wildlife Refuge. In this magical place, you can drive down the middle of the waters to a pullout in the center. There I caught this wonderful reflective heart.

Sky Opal
On our way back from Washington state Sunday night, we noticed a Sky Opal in the sunset. I caught a glimpse of it with my camera as we drove over the Glenn Jackson Bridge back toward Oregon. Can you see it right about center, just over the hills of Portland?
Here is a close up of the Sky Opal. The camera really doesn't do the real thing justice!

Snow, Beaches and Hearts - Guest Heart Thursday
By the time we arrived the sun had already gone down--but we could see the waves of the sea because a car sitting on the beach had highlighted them with their beams. It was a wild and windy night--every time I would get up I would see snow falling in the parking lot lights.
When we awoke early the next morning, this is what we saw! After a marvelous breakfast, we went for a walk on the beach...in the SNOW!
I found these interesting "creatures" standing in the snow. As you can see one is in the shape of a heart.
That evening we went out again to watch the sunset. I wasn't a bit surprised to see this giant heart shining out over the beach. After all--the beach was greeting a long-lost Friend...Clytie, Queen of Hearts.
