Primal Fear – Friday Fictioneers Flash Fiction

The photo looks to be a lattice or wooden fence covered with spider webs and vines. From the way the photo is framed it almost appears to be a window. Through the openings we see green grass, a tree, and the sky. The webs are so thick they look like they’re made from yarn of thick thread.

In this week’s photo we’re on a landing looking down a flight of stairs between two brick walls. At the bottom of the steps is a sidewalk, a street and beyond that a parking lot with cars. It’s snowing and between the walls an evergreen Christmas oranamet topped with snow.

Consequences

The garden center is deserted but someone must have survived long enough in there to water the plants. We need these plants, especially the trees.
