I’ve been bitten by the knitting bug, after coming back from Paris with a stash of wonderful yarn, so there’s been hardly any stitching this month. Here are the results of the past few weeks. First, I finished the Col Tadoussac which I started while still in Paris: very fun pattern, and terrific colours (the 2nd picture shows them better). The Lang Merino which it called for is a great yarn to work with and to wear, nice and soft without any fuzz.
Mi ha preso la voglia di maglia, dopo essere tornata da Parigi con tanta lana meravigliosa, e di conseguenza di crocette questo mese ce ne sono state veramente poche. Ecco i risultati delle ultime settimane. Innanzitutto, ho finito il Col Tadoussac che avevo cominciato mentre ero ancora a Parigi: molto divertente, e i colori sono fantastici (li rende meglio la seconda foto). La Lang Merino che richiedeva è una lana molto piacevole con cui lavorare e da indossare, bella morbida e completamente liscia.
And then I started my first top-down sweater, Breathing Space, with Ullcentrum wool. It’s coming along nicely, and the unusual shape makes it interesting.
Poi ho cominciato il mio primo top-down, Breathing Space, con lana Ullcentrum. Procede bene, e la forma insolita lo rende interessante.
But by now I’m missing my stitching, and I’m painfully behind on the Frosty Forest stitch-along, so I guess I’ll have to rotate knitting and stitching for a while. Oh, to have more time…
Ma ormai mi mancano le crocette, e sono rimasta indietrissimo col SAL Frosty Forest, quindi mi toccherà alternare ricamo e maglia per un po’. Se solo ci fosse più tempo…

Carissima giovanna, è da un sacco che non ti commento più, tutta colpa di questa fretta che ci attanaglia , soprattutto noi creative che mentre giriamo per blog all’improvviso ci rendiamo conto che in quel lasso di tempo quante cose avremmo prodotto!!Vedo che anche te ti sei un pò buttata tra le mani dei ferri…anche questi come il punto croce diventano una malattia…io sono al mio 3 top down…purtroppo però non ho ancora la forza di mettermi a crearne uno per me…ma tutti per i miei figli…mi mette paura il pensiero di crare una maglia adulto che poi temo si rilevi infinita!!ma il tempo sono sicura porterà i suoi frutti!!delizioso il collo che è nella mia biblioteca da chissà quanto!!
