Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. The previous version is installed and a filter with incorrect checksum is added.
2. Update to version 2.16

Expected Behavior

App updated successfully, and runs without issues

Actual Behavior

App updated successfully, but protection fails to start

We have identified the issue and are working on a fix, which is scheduled for release on 19 December.

As a temporary workaround, we recommend opening a Spotlight search and typing Terminal. In the opened Terminal window, paste and run the following command rm -Rf "$HOME/Library/Group Containers/TC3Q7MAJXF.com.adguard.mac". You should then be able to launch AdGuard and enable protection.

! Please note, however, that running this command will effectively delete your AdGuard settings.
