LOCKSS 1.78.5 and LOCKSS 2.0.84-beta1 Released

The LOCKSS Program today announced that LOCKSS 1.78.5 and LOCKSS 2.0.84-beta1 have been released.

In addition to miscellaneous bug fixes, this second iteration of LOCKSS 1.78 and fourth iteration of LOCKSS 2.0-beta1 incorporate many bug fixes, performance improvements, and user interface improvements in the LOCKSS 1.x to 2.x Migration Tool, from experience and feedback garnered from early adopters of LOCKSS 2.0-beta1 using the Migration Tool.

We encourage those running LOCKSS 1.x to upgrade to LOCKSS 1.78.5 and those running LOCKSS 2.x to upgrade to LOCKSS 2.0.84-beta1. Additionally, we encourage more beta-testing of LOCKSS 2.0-beta1 and of the LOCKSS 1.x to 2.x Migration Tool.
