Yeah I'm in the same boat. I opened a ticket nearly 2 months ago and have followed up at least every week or 2 weeks but have not had a response either. |

GitHub is currently overwhelmed with "Abuse" tickets because they are cracking down on people using GitHub Actions for non-coding tasks. Because your account triggered a "General Computing" flag (likely due to the Tailscale/OAuth background connection), your ticket is sitting in a massive backlog. It usually takes 3 to 10 business days for a human to even look at an appeal, and because these bans are automated, the first few responses you get are often canned or bot-generated. |

I’ve seen GitHub Support take anywhere from a few days to over a month, depending on the plan and ticket complexity. Free or open‑source tickets often sit longer, while paid Enterprise or Team plans usually get a reply within 5‑10 business days. If you haven’t heard back after 30 days, I’d first verify the ticket is still open by logging into the support portal at https://support.github.com/contact and checking the status with your ticket number. If it shows “pending” or no update, try replying to the same thread with a brief note asking for an update - sometimes that bumps it back into the queue. You can also reach out via @githubsupport on Twitter; they sometimes escalate there when the email thread stalls. If you’re on a paid plan, mention your contract or support tier in the reply; that often speeds things up. I’m not 100% sure about internal SLA numbers, but those steps have worked for me when tickets went silent. |

waiting now for 2 Week after second shadowban - for just using github to much in their view. THIS COMPANY IST SO FUCKING NON-TRANSPARENT with their FALSE SHADOWBANS it is all just for getting the code of all free Users - without spending enough for compliance or support - while generating "pro" money with with learned "free" code. This just sucks ! |

Hi, my ticket seems to have been ignored for a while, so I’d like to know whether this is normal. It’s a bit of a rhetorical question, because clearly it isn’t. I’m not trying to be toxic, it’s just a bit frustrating, so I wanted to ask how long you usually take to respond?
