His nonfiction book, The Day It Finally Happens: Alien Contact, Dinosaur Parks, Immortal Humans―and Other Possible Phenomena was published in 2019 by Scribner. Mike is interested in apocalypse scenarios, other people’s predictions about the future, and technology without screens. He lives in Los Angeles.
