I’m glad you’re here!

Some things about me:

I am a Christian, saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

I am married and a mom of one son and two stepdaughters, all adults now.  (When did that happen?!) Also, I am Nana to a wonderful toddler! He is such a fun little guy and I love every bit of Nana time I get with him!

I attempted a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2022. (Edit: We went, Kangaroo hurt her back, change in plans — see here and here. Well, and then here. Read about our Oregon PCT attempt here, here, and here.)

I am a legal transcriptionist.  I often talk back to the recording when I don’t like what someone is saying. To date, my favorite thing I have typed was a witness saying to the judge, when the witness was finished testifying, “Am I cleared for takeoff, Your Majesty?” There was also that one time when the defendant told the District Attorney he looked like Frankenstein… 😁

I sell vintage things on Etsy, because I like vintage things and I like going to sales and flea markets to find vintage things.  My Etsy store is on hiatus right now, I am concentrating on my transcription work.

I like hiking, social media, books, and old television shows and movies.

I always read detailed reviews of a movie before I watch it.  I don’t want to be surprised. I don’t watch many movies.

I have a natural knowledge of language, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

I dislike cooking.
