It's better than Christmas!

Josce got her own room after nearly 6 years of waiting!!!

I don't think she is happy about it, do you?

Grandma Vera accidental let it slip that Josce was getting her own room for Christmas, just like she let it slip that Lincon was on his way. You cant tell her anything!!( just kidding)

Who do we look up to?

This picture makes me think about the future of these little boys. Lincon will probably all ways look at Cam for an example of how to be. Who do we look up to? Who do we give our respect and love to? Are they worthy of it? Do they lead us where we want to go? John Bytheway tells the story of friends who knew a man needed help because he could not walk. Everyone else had given up on him. they came one day and carried him away. He was helpless if he had wanted to resist. These people were true friends and showed it because they took him to Christ to be healed. I hope we all are aware as we choose who we will look up to. Also, remember who may be watching you and make sure you are worthy of their trust.

Hawaii

The girls in our young Woman's program did personal progress to earn a trip to Hawaii.
We had a blast putting this together for them. (All most as much fun as they had.)
Thank you Luana for your help with the words and names. I cant find the list I made to help me remember who had what name.

In February we will be going to Sweden.

Tribute to Charlie

I am not so much a dog person. I like dogies but I'm nothing like my Aunt Sue and Uncle Arnie. They LOVE their dogs like furry people. When I was living with them, they had 3 dogs. Daisy, Bonkers, and Charlie. Daisy passed away a few years ago followed by Bonkers. Today was Charlie's turn to go home. It feels like I've known Charlie my whole life. As Anne of Green Gables would say he was a kindred spirit. He seamed to know when you needed him, he would just find you and lay by you if he felt you were sad. He had the softest fur I have ever felt! EVER! When I was a Junior and Senior in high school I had a couple broken hearts and Charlie was always there for me. He didn't mind how wet his velvet fur got with my tears. He never got sick of me being a mellow dramatic teen age girl. He was also a very happy dog he loved to take you for walks. He would drag you down the road. I still have scars on my knees from the first walk he and I went on. The living room windows all ways had nose prints from his efforts to defend the house from EVERYTHING that moved on the other side of those windows. He could even watch T.V. He loved westerns. He liked to bark at anything on four legs that happened on to the screen. In my life there have only been a couple of dogs who have meant to me what he did. My whole family will miss him...

My Monsters

Here are my little monsters! Josce and I made her funky witch costume.
(Rob thinks the hat has a sombrero feel to it. I told him to can it!)
Shelly made Cam's costume for him for Christmas last year. He feels like his fathers son with all that "facial hair."
I was Lucky enough to find Lincon a cute easy costume that he could be comfortable in. It says "My mummy loves me."
Happy Halloween!
