 I hope you feel at home as you read through the thoughts and devotional readings on this blog that bring lyrics, poetry, and prose together to tell of God’s amazing grace. I also hope you spend some time laughing along the way. I encourage you to pick up your Bible and read the verses and chapters that are referenced in the writing. They are the source of truth, and I have no greater wish than that this blog will draw readers to search out the truth which God has given us. 

Things have been changing in my life. Since my book has been published, I have started a new website www.bethmims.com . Most of my posting is done there, but I still pop over to this site periodically. I hope you will join me on the blog at the new site. I try to link the two sites as much as possible. About Me:

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters who have blessed us with five wonderful grandchildren. I am also a retired educator, who never learned to quit teaching. I have been writing all my life, but until recently it has been a private pastime. This blog makes it public, and that has been a little scary for me.

 I love music and my garden, and I find that God can teach me many lessons through both of these. He also teaches me a lot through children and through the many crazy things that happen in my everyday life.

 I love serving God. I am so glad that He is my Father, and I want everyone I meet to know Him, too.
