Mom's visit

Brody did NOT want to stop for a picture. He wanted to go PLAY!!!

My Mom came to visit about a week ago. We had a great time. It was a rainy mellow week. We didn't get to play outside much, so not too many pictures. We did go to Science City one day. This was the place we had the boys "crazy" Birthday party. It was much more enjoyable this time around. Here are a few highlights-

The rest of the time we spent at pump it up (which drove my Mom crazy, I guess I am just used to chaos) working out at the gym, playing rummy kube & watching Enchanted. She even helped me catch up on housework!!!
Thanks Mom for coming to play with us. We had a lot of fun!

I LOVE David Cook!!!

Don't worry Greg, not that kind of love. This guy is just AMAZING!!!! Ever since he sang "Hello" a few weeks back I have been a huge fan. He is by far my favorite contestant on American Idol. I mean it's one thing to sing well, but to have the kind of talent and guts he has to create the kind of music that he dose is way more admirable. He is original, interesting, you never know what he'll do next.

Okay maybe I do have a little TV crush. There's just something about him. I know, the guy dose sport a mullet, but when he's singing...Oh, He's suddenly HOT.( I'm sure I'm not the only one who think this). The tone to his voice is beautiful, even when he's rockin' out. He porus so much emotion into his songs. It gives me goose bumps.

I have heard people call him cocky, but I don't see it. He is just very soft spoken and seems to value what the judges say. He is incredibly talented and I don't think he is getting enough credit. NO ONE in this competition is as talented and well rounded a musician as David Cook.
..... His home town is only 20 mins. from me...
Nah, I won't stalk him, Or will I?

This might be my favorite song from him.
It's Mariah Carey's Always be my Baby sung David Cook style.
Check it out and see what I mean. This guy is AWESOME!!!!

Miss Me?

I know I know- This is so not like me- A month between posts, What like I have a life or something?
Actually~ I just wanted to make sure people were still reading this.
Now I know you do.(So stop harassing me! j/k You know I loved it;)

Honestly, I don't know why I didn't update- It's not like I've had anything out of the ordinary going on. I think I just got a little blog burn-out. But tonight instead of going to bed at 9:30 like I came up here to do( so much for a good nights rest), I decided to blog hop for a bit and catch up. It made me miss the interaction that comes with this whole blogging thing. I feel so out of the loop right now.
Also, I realized I hated my last background. I am not a pastel person, but I thought it was nice for Easter. I wanted to wait until summer to change my background again, but I couldn't take it anymore! So with some new bright colors, a few encouraging words and a desperate need to talk with friends~ We are back in business!
For a little catch up , here are pictures from our Easter activities-

A friend of mine who has recently moved here decided to host an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. They have the most fun backyard with lots of toys that kept the boys entertained. They especially had fun on the jungle gym. Brody was a little more into the hunt this year. At least he understood there was candy inside, so he was on the prowl. Tate on the other hand didn't want to stop playing, so he took his basket to a toy car and drove around instead.

Here is what happens when I put Greg in charge of taking pictures of the boys in their Easter clothes, silly Greg, One take is never enough! But He was trying to be helpful. I was rushing to get dinner ready for our friends to come over, so that's why he got camera duty.I'll try again next week.:)

Well even this was more than I planned on doing tonight. It's almost midnight and I am a bear with out sleep. I'll update more soon. I promise.
