Hopefully back soon !

I'm getting the blogging bug back but with no internet at home yet it has to wait.  I'm considering changing the name of my blog and some of what I write about. We'll see I have ideas in my head  not sure how to work with them yet.
I just wanted to update all my friends on what has been going on ,at least briefly. My hubby lost his job in July and did get a new job in another state. We moved from Indiana to Pennsylvania and are still getting used to all the changes. I'm still looking for a job (would prefer one at home if possible) and hopefully will find one soon. I truly miss all my friends on here and praying that i can blog with you all again soon.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I can't get back on here soon .

Quick Update

Hi everyone, I thought I better update you all on things my way. I'm no longer working  but I start classes to be a certified nurses aide in May. Hopefully after that I can go back to school to study radiology.  I am also having laser surgery on April 13th to have a fatty tumor removed from neck. It sits close to my spine so this has me extremely nervous. The doctor is also going to remove 2 fibrous spots  one on my arm and one on my hand the same day. The main part I'm nervous about is its only local anethesia and I won't be under.  I know I'll be fine  but still makes me nervous. The good thing is he doesn't think any are cancerous but he will biopsy them anyway to make sure.  I will let you all know when I know something.

We also got a new addition to the family. Her name is Mystique.

Some Sad News

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was considered a very smart cookie, but wasted much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play dough, three children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

If this made you smile for even a brief second, please rise to the occasion and share that smile with someone else who may be having a crumby day and kneads a lift.

In Honor of the Simpson's 20th Anniversary

I used to own a cassette tape of the Simpson's back in the 90's I just thought I would post a video of one of the more popular songs from that cassette.  The Simpson's are still great and I wish the sitcom several more years to run. Happy 20th Anniversary to the Simpson's.
