I never met Kathy Shaidle, but for a while she was a daily part of my life. 

I did once meet Arnie, Kathy's husband, when he dropped by the Halls... and I liked him very much.   

Anyway, she's still the same tough, feisty, no-nonsense lady we all knew from Five Feet of Fury.

Finally, I leave you with some vintage Shaidle.

The Men Who Walked Away

Another December 6th and I keep wondering... "Marc Who?"

Every December 6th, our own unmanned Dominion lowers its flags to half-mast and tries to saddle Canadian manhood in general with the blame for the Montreal massacre -- the fourteen women murdered by Marc Lépine, born Gamil Gharbi, the son of an Algerian Muslim wife-beater, though you wouldn't know that from the press coverage.

I accepted the official narrative of events - until, that is, a few years later, when I looked into it myself.

At which point I marveled at how the Canadian state had succeeded in so thoroughly imposing a meaning on the slaughter that is more or less the precise opposite of what actually happened.

So saith Toronto blogger Kathy Shaidle...

As Licia Corbella wrote in an excellent article in the Calgary Sun, Gharbi/ Lepine was "Not one of us." He wasn't a hunter, farmer or gun collector, but the product of an abusive, misogynistic father.

But the Liberal Party immediately mounted a multi-billion dollar campaign against dastardly guns & gun owners.

"If young Marc/Gamil had chosen to run these women down with a car that night, would the Liberal Party have spent over a billion taxpayer dollars to try ban, let's say... Volkswagen Jettas?"

It really doesn't matter what it says on your passport... you can't be a Canadian AND a Jihadi.

A bad day to be a lefty

The real reason George Zimmerman wasn't charged...

With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk, leaving him bloody and battered, law-enforcement authorities told the Orlando Sentinel.

That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say.

And one last little item...

And of course, almost no one knows that on the night he took Trayvon Martin’s life, George Zimmerman willingly consented to take a voice stress analyzer test, a kind of lie detector test used by the Sanford police. He passed it.

Apparently President McDreamy & company... (ie. the New Black Panther Party)... jumped the, uh... gun... yet again.

Doesn't George Zimmerman deserve at least as much due process as any other accused?

Question number one here has to be... what's happening to all that cash? And that's a question that applies not just to Attawapiskat... but right across the breadth of this country. Some folks, somewhere... are sitting on a Tony Montana size mountain 'o cash. Which brings us back to the actual problem here. If, despite this annual obscene infusion of billions of taxpayer dollars, aboriginal peoples are still living in abject poverty... apart, of course, from the aforementioned epidemic of widescreen televisions... it's because their (cough, cough) "leaders" are screwing them over. And that, my friends, is part of a bigger picture. The oft-quoted figure of 8 to 12 billion dollars gifted annually to First Nations communities seems to be one of the largest continuing expenses in the federal budget... and it's obviously not working. Well, I'm with Kathy Shaidle... it's time to think outside the sweatlodge...

The solution to Canada’s intractable “Indian problem” seems obvious: Give every card-carrying native one million dollars cash, tax-free. (It will be the last tax-free perk they’ll ever enjoy and the last government entitlement they’ll be eligible to receive.) In return, they drop all treaty disputes and other suits against the government and the Catholic Church. Then they move off the reserves. This Crown land will be turned into toxic waste dumps and - assuming some of the natives get homesick - maximum-security prisons.

Every aboriginal a millionaire... no more 10 billion taxpayer dollars down the toilet every year. Win-win... right?

I know what I'm getting Kathy Shaidle...

For the record, I never suggested that Kathy Shaidle needs to get laid. I mean, we all need to get laid, and I've no reason to think Shaidle is an exception.

But in Shaidle's case I think the chances of that happening regularly may be remote.

Let's face it: other Africans don't care much about starving Africans, or they wouldn't steal foreign aid from the mouths of their fellow citizens. The Great White Liberal doesn't really care, otherwise they'd never have banned DDT or fertilizer... He's just indulging in masturbatory/circle jerk moral exhibitionism.

Africa is a basketcase and that isn't my problem. Christianity was probably helping, but they seem to prefer Islam, with predictable results.
