Remember us?

As always we've been busy the last several months and I have neglected our blog since October. Instead of spending many hours trying to update, I'm just going to hit the highlights, then maybe I'll be able to keep up with it from now on.

The Rest of October:
Pumpkin Carving

Two little lions for Halloween.
Kyle dressed up in a 'Nephite' costume his sister had and he went as Daniel (in the lions den...get it?)

November:

Katie came to visit in early November and we enjoyed having her! The kids adored her and we hope she comes again next time she's at school.

Look how happy they are to see her!

Of course we took her to a hockey game while she was here.

This is just another pic from November I thought was cute. These little boys spent a good hour pretending to talk to their dads on their cell phones.
A 'conversation' I overheard from Kyson: "Hi dad. Are you at work? Yeah? What are you doing? Sawing? Oh. No, the house isn't clean. Huh? What you said? Ok bye."

December:
Santa round 1:

Santa Round 2:

Cousins on Christmas Eve
New jammies from Heggie Grandparents
Christmas morning:
Yay! Santa brought Woody just like he promised!

Christmas outfits. You can tell this was taken after church.
Imagine the shirts tucked in.

Then at the end of December we got a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa Grothaus
We had a really good time with them and I'll post more pictures of the visit next time (blogger is being difficult today, not letting me move pictures around)

Along with messy face pictures and crying on Santa's lap pictures, these are some of my favorites, they remind me of "The Christmas Story" movie with the little brother all bundled up and bawling.

We got to take my parents curling while they were here as part of an Elder's Quorum activity. I was terrible, but it turned out to be really fun and my dad was really good at it.

This is my only January picture to blog. They're just having some water fun in the sink with their new craft covers (side note: these craft covers did not turn out to be waterproof, and they did not stop Dillon from dumping cups of water on the floor. Now Kyson does this activity while Dills is sleeping. :) )
