Guide de configuration de MSP360 pour MEGA S4

MSP360 est une solution de sauvegarde flexible qui prend en charge des sauvegardes sécurisées et évolutives sur plusieurs plateformes et fournisseurs de stockage cloud. En utilisant un modèle « bring your own storage », il s’intègre facilement à des services tels que MEGA S4 grâce à sa prise en charge du protocole S3.

Ce guide explique comment configurer MSP360 pour sauvegarder des données sur MEGA S4 et effectuer des restaurations de données lorsque cela est nécessaire.

Configurez votre MEGA S4

Create a new bucket

1. Click Object storage on the left-hand panel.
2. Click Create bucket.
3. Name the bucket.
4. Cliquez sur Créer.

Set up your access keys

1. Click Object storage on the left-hand panel.
2. Click Keys on the left-hand panel.
3. Click Create key.
4. Name the key.
5. Copy the Access key and Secret key.

Set up MSP360

Create a backup destination

1. Open the MSP360 Management Console.
2. Click Backups, then Storage Accounts.
3. Click Add New Account.
• Select S3 Compatible as the storage type.
• Enter a name for the storage account.
• Enter your Access Key and Secret Key.
• Set the Signature Version to v4.
• If you plan to use Multipart Upload (MPU), leave Native Multipart Upload ticked. If not, disable it.
• For the HTTPS endpoint use one of the MEGA S4 endpoint addresses.
4. Cliquez sur Suivant.
5. Use the New Bucket Name to create a new bucket, or click Show advanced settings to select an existing one, then click Next.
6. Select the company to assign the bucket to, then click Next.
7. Cliquez sur Enregistrer

Create a backup plan

1. On the Computers tab, click on a computer to select it.
2. In the right-hand panel, click Backup plans.
3. Click + Add new plan.
4. Select Files backups plan NBF.
5. Enter a Plan name, then click Next.
6. Select the backup destination that was created in the previous step, then click Next.
7. Choose the data you want to back up, then click Next.
8. Choose the settings you want for Advanced Filter, Compression and Encryption, Backup Consistency Check, Schedule Options, Retention Policy and Notifications.
9. Cliquez sur Enregistrer

Add a restore plan

1. On the Computers tab, click on a computer to select it.
2. In the right-hand panel, click Restore plans.
3. Click + Add new plan.
4. Select Files restore plan.
5. Select Save restore plan.
6. Select the MEGA S4 cloud storage, then click Next.
7. Select the computer you want to restore, then click Next.
8. Select the backup that was created in the previous step, then click Next.
9. Select the Restore Point, Restore Source, and Destination.
10. Click Save.

Limitations

MEGA S4 supports the core MSP360 backup and restore workflows, including multipart uploads and range downloads.

However, the following advanced S3 features are not currently supported:

• S3 object versioning
• Synthetic full backups that rely on multipart server-side copy operations
