Structure of the Foundation

Heydar Aliyev Foundation is non-governmental, non-commercial organization. Structure of the Foundation is based on collegial and united ruling.

President

President is an executive body of the Foundation. President is a legal authorized representative of the Foundation. President fulfills general management on the confirmation and implementation of programmes, identification of the Foundation’s target priorities, structure and personnel, and other issues mentioned in the Charter.

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation is First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva.

Executive Director

Executive Director carries out a direct rule over the activity of the Foundation, controls programmes and actions. Executive Director functions in the framework of the authorities related by the Foundation’s President to its authorities and is an authorized representative of the Foundation within the issues related to its authorities.

Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation is Anar Alakbarov.

Board of Experts

Board of Experts, an advisory body, ensures efficiency of decisions adopted. Consisted of experts of different specializations, Board of Experts prepares and submits to the President the corresponding opinions, accounts and reports.

A number of bodies have been established in the structure of the Foundation to perform specialized functions and tasks.
