Sawadika!

I still can't believe approximately twelve hours from now I will once again be in
a foreign land. Frankly, I am not too sure what to expect from this short trip.
It's only for a night's stay but the itinerary seems very interesting.
Hmm... if we are to do what we all set out to do. We'll see. We will see.

Anyway, trip starts 6 freaking am, so it's time to zzzz.

I’m very tempted to watch the fresh new episode of Vampire Diaries though.

On a side note, Happy Birthday Papa! Although we celebrated the big day a week earlier
but it's still the actual day today so...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!!

Ok. I really need to go now to speed through the episode. Grrr...

One of These Things is Not Like the Others...

*sings*

One of these things is not the same.

Can you tell which thing is not like the others?

Can you tell which thing is not the same?

*grins*

Threw them pillows aside to take off my bedsheet and saw this instead.

Mind you, that cutesy blue rabbit print pillow case is sort of like my "smelly" which I'm sure everyone has. Right? Right? Don't even try to deny it. It's not smelly in the sense of it being stinky, it's smelly in the sense of me hugging it to sleep every night and practically breathing off it. :P

Now what's the bolster for then?

*shrugs*

Its role is to lay at the side of the wall to prevent me from knocking myself 'blue-black' against the wall.

See! Every pillow and bolster has an important part to play.

*points to the standing red pillow*

That is what I lay my head on.

*points to big flat red pillow on top of the bolster*

And that is what my legs are laid on.

Yes. Yes. There's a pillow for my legs.

And that red piece of cloth right in front of the picture. Well that's my blanket. Oh and if you're wondering, the missing bedsheet from this picture, well, that's sort of maroon-pink-red too.

So yeah, blue cutesy is the bestest!

In Which Early to Bed, Early to Rise Does Not Actually Make You Healthy, Wealthy and Wise

You see, the thing is, my usual sleeping routine involves attempting to go to bed by 11.30pm, hoping to doze off and sleep by midnight or 12.30am latest. Approximately
6 hours later, have my first wake up call at about 6.15am in which I will then decide to snooze or not to snooze for another 5 minutes.

My internal alarm clock however has apparently being tuned to ring punctually
after 6 hours of sleep, regardless of the time.

Which is a REAL BUMMER!

Because yesterday night, I was feeling so worn out that I decided to went to bed at 10.30pm and probably entered dreamland by 11.00pm. So 'guai', so early, right?

*sigh*

You've probably guessed it.

I WOKE UP at 5 freaking AM this morning.

*pouts*

Not a smart move at all.

AM NOT FEELING ANY BIT WISER AT ALL.

Yeah, so I rolled in my bed, snoozed a little, dozed off a little and finally got out of bed at 6.15am feeling not "healthy", "wealthy" nor "wise" at all.

I Had A Dream

That was this morning but truth to be told, I always have strange dreams. Last week was the ultimate dream week for me. They're almost movie-like. Action-packed with gun shooting, car chasing and even artificial intelligence. I'm always hesistant to share them with others for fear that people might think I'm crazy or just making the stories up. Half of the time I get the "Are you for real?" look from my sister. You know that "skeptical eyebrow scrunch up" kind of look you get when people think you're bullshitting them. And that's coming from my sister.

"Were you watching any movies before you went to bed?"

"Umm... Glee?"

I do watch movies every day during my ride to and back from work, thanks to Gadget Boy. But all I had been watching for the past four weeks were Harry Potter movies, all six of them. If movie-watching was the cause behind my dreams, I would be a witch casting spells.

Now all these dreams are still merely dreams that
could possibily mean something or nothing at all.

But this morning, I had a dream that made a difference to reality. Out of the blue, with no actual beginning, I was dreaming that I needed to go to the loo. Yaya. I know that sometimes that happens to almost anyone. It's sorta a sign your body and brain is trying to tell you that... well, you literally need to go to the loo.

Here's where it got interesting. I couldn't find the loo, or at least I was still looking for it when I got distracted by food. Can you believe that? I actually stood there in my dream, pondering whether I should continue my mission to answer nature's call or sit and eat. In my defence, the food was seriously gooooood. Though I don't remember what they were. :P

Guess what?!

I sat and ate, holding back my need to pee.

WOOT?!

I guess that's the Real Me being stubborn and refuse to get up and go to the toilet. Well, kudos to my brain and my power to dream. While I was eating away in my dream, the 'sleeping me' heard my dad knocking on my door and telling me he needed to use the toilet. See! Here's where dream and reality blurred out. I knew I was dreaming, I even rationalise that mom was probably using the toilet downstairs and dad needed to use the attached bathroom in my room. So I actually forced myself to wake up, walk over and open the door for my dad.

Guess what again?!

Duh. There's no one there.

Brain 1. Me 0.
I lost.

So I closed the door and went to the toilet. For real this time.
Oh I went back to bed after that but the food was gone. :P

A Bad Sign Turned Good

Woke up at 6.15am this morning feeling a little warm as the AC had auto shut-off at 5am. I usually sleep through the remaining hour and a half with whatever coolness left in the room. It was hot though this morning so I got up with my eyes closed and went to switch on the fan. Went back to bed for my precious 15 more minutes of sleep.

Sure enough the alarm went off at 6.30am.
Woke up and my first thought was
[Why am I still feeling that hot?]

The fan wasn't on! Second thought
[Wait! Did I not got up to switch the fan on?]

Hey at 6.30am in the morning, you gotta doubt yourself whether you actually dreamt the whole thing up. So I stood up and went back to the switch. Sure enough it was on!

WAIT! Third thought of the morning.
Gosh, too much going on in such an hour!
[WHAT?! No electricity!!!]

Yes that thought came with three exclaimation marks because that means bathing in the dark and OMG! Bathing with cold cold water! *shivers* So I groaned and crashed back onto the bed. Not the way to start a Monday, man! 6.35am and my alarm rang again. This time I lay awake on my bed, mourning over the bad start to the week. *sigh*

Fourth thought of the morning:
[THIS IS NOT A GOOD SIGN!]

A minute passed. My 6.40am deadline ticks.
And then the AC made a noise. The fan answers it.

O__O

Fifth thought:
[It's BACK!]

6.40am and the alarm goes off one last time. Finally I got up feeling all smugged.

The first thought of the week as I stepped out of my room?
[IT'S GONNA BE A GOOD WEEK AFTER ALL]

The Clock is Ticking! The Clock is Ticking!

So I may or may not have dozed off for a total 3 minutes in front of the computer with the music blasting right at my face.

So I may or may not have forced crawl myself into bed
even before the clock strike 11.

So I may or may not have progressed further into the entire "biological clock is tickin" thingy magingy.

Yeah. So I may or may not be getting old.

But I'm definitely getting there.

*frowns*

I Slept The Day Through With A Headache

Round 1:
2.00am - 8.30am (6hrs 30mins)
Round 2:
9.00am - 11.00am (2hrs)
Round 3:
3.30pm - 4.30pm (1hr)
Round 4:
4.40pm - 5.30pm (50mins)

That brings a total of approximately
10 hours and 20 mins

I know it's not really a big number to boast about. But this doesn't really happen to me all that often, so it does kinda deserve to be placed into my personal book of record. Yet I'm still living the night through with a pain in the head. *frowns*

So is it time for bed yet?

Ti.red.I.am

Scratch the thought of work and play at the same time. Heck, a weekend of travelling and mall-hopping is way more tiresome than working. Longer hours and more physically-drained. Oh, and I'm not even getting paid for all the hard work. That's a weekend of buy buy money. Eeeeek! I mean bye bye money. -.-;; Oh, and my absence from work could only spell "More Work Tomorrow".

Yippee.
Gee, isn't it missing some exclamation marks.

Why am I being sarcastic to myself? *frowns*

Happy thoughts, Vin!
Think happy thoughts!

Hmm... now now, it's not all that bad. This was also my first "trip away from home" with my younger sister. Together exploring new grounds for her next study destination. I don't get why mom's that worried when I was practically threw myself to an unknown land more than 7 years ago and survived just fine. WAIT! That was 7 years ago? Now I'm feeling old. This post is just depressing. I should stop. Go to bed. Brace myself for tomorrow. Good night.

Yeah right. As if I'm ready and done for bed.
Much to do. Much to do.

I miss bed.
I have the sudden urge to express that thought, but am too lazy to make an effort to find a place to slot it into this post appropriately.

This has to be one of the most disorientated post ever.

Cute.
Yeah right.
I just can't help myself.

Perfect 10 >> Auspicious 8

I didn't make it for the Perfect 10 last Wednesday. *sigh* So I thought I'll be lazy on my rare day off and aim for an Auspicious 8 this time instead. Lowering my standards. Cis cis. It's a crime I tell you.

Well, it didn't happen.

At 6.45am, early I tell you. Early.
My dad holler: "JO!!"

*in a sleepy yet slight shocked state* "Huh??"

"Got work anot?"

Woot?!? *blink blink* "NO!!"

Then I heard my mom's voice mumbling about me being on leave today. There goes my 8 continuous hours of sleep. It just didn't happen. *sigh*
