From roads and railways to power grids, digital networks and water systems, these investments have helped lay the foundations for sustainable and inclusive growth. This week, on the margins of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week - ADSW in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), we celebrated two years of successful operations of the AIIB Abu Dhabi Hub. Speaking at a reception attended by more than 100 dignitaries from government, multilateral and financial institutions, the diplomatic community and the private sector, held to mark this milestone, the UAE Governor to AIIB, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, said, “Over its first decade, AIIB has demonstrated the power of partnerships in advancing sustainable development, mobilizing billions of dollars to deliver long-term value. 📰𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | AIIB has returned to the Hong Kong dollar public bond market with a HKD4 billion 3-year Sustainable Development Bond, its second issuance under the Wonton bond format. The transaction saw strong investor demand, with an order book of around HKD7.8 billion, allowing to price flat to HIBOR.
