Following the success of the hotel’s seventh floor, Blanc de Noirs offers a more understated experience. With 30 seats, it brings a quieter pace to the evening, whether as a prelude, a pause, or a destination in itself. Guests are also invited to explore Amber’s 3,000-label wine collection, creating a sense of discovery that evolves with each visit. Rituals such as the Champagne O’Clock Fountain lend a sense of occasion, while the cocktail programme explores both champagne-led signatures and refined classics. From cherished memories to precious jewels. The 150th Anniversary collection by Margot McKinney honours the spirit and splendour of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. Drawing upon cherished memories from her many stays, Margot translated moments of place, atmosphere and emotion into wearable works of art. The muse lies within the hotel’s iconic lobby: a space defined by soaring ceilings, expansive windows and a sense of warmth and relaxed grandeur. Bell-shaped chandeliers, suspended high above like vines in a tropical jungle, draw the eye and linger in the memory. Reimagined in precious form and elegantly paired with the Mandarin Oriental’s signature fan motif, these lantern forms have been immortalised in a collection of brooches and earrings created exclusively for this milestone anniversary. • Today marks an exceptional milestone, as we proudly welcome the legendary Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan into our family. Overlooking the Nile and steeped in history since 1899, the Old Cataract is one of the world’s most storied hotels, defined by its heritage, character, and timeless elegance.   From 1 May 2026, management of this iconic property will transition to our group, beginning a carefully phased journey toward its future as Old Cataract, Aswan. This moment is guided by deep respect for the hotel’s remarkable legacy, and, above all, for the people whose talent, pride, and dedication have shaped its story across generations.   While the hotel continues to welcome guests, a comprehensive and carefully considered renovation programme will commence, preserving the building’s distinctive architecture and spirit while preparing it for its next chapter. Today is first and foremost about welcoming the Old Cataract team, celebrating their craftsmanship, service ethos and commitment to excellence, which align so naturally with our own values.   The full transformation is expected to be completed in Summer 2027, when the property will formally join the portfolio as Mandarin Oriental Old Cataract, Aswan. Until then, we look forward to working closely together to honour the past while shaping an exceptional future.   Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gKfP8nqa #ImAFan #MandarinOriental #OldCataractAswan
