Stitching, stitching, stitching

I have been stitching. I finished Waxing Moon Believe. I have taken pictures but have been having lots of problems with my PC. It has been infected 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I have had it at work since Tuesday and they haven't had time to clean it yet. I am also working on Merry Christmas by the Letter by Lizzie Kate and a Mill Hill ornament Jolly.

Tomorrow I am going out to breakfast with my sister and they we are taking Believe, Lizzie Kate's Halloween Flip It, The Chocolate Cat Love Letters and Angel Stitchin' , sorry I can't remember the name of the chart, to Just Cross Stitch to have them framed. Believe is for my sister, she asked me to stitch it for her, so she will pay for the framing on that one. I may change my mind and not take the Angel Stitchin' Save Santa The Trip. I would like to have it framed but I keep thinking about making it into a no sew cube. Decisions, decisions.

I only have 204 work days until December 23rd when I hope to retire.

B and I are both taking Monday off work as it is my birthday. We are going to The Pub at Wegman's for Lunch and then we are going to look around the store. We also may go to Best Buy as I have a $30.00 gift certificate and don't want it to go to waste. I'll go crazy for 3 days without a computer since the laptop seems to be messed up also. I am going to try and install Spybot and see if it has spyware on it. Maybe I can get it removed or containted and then we will be able to at least surf the web.

Ok I have bored everyone enough. Hopefull the next time I post I will be able to post a picture of Belive and Love Letters which is for my Great Nephew who is getting married in August.

Happy weekend

WOW it is 2010

and I have less then 12 months to work. Only a little less than 12 months to work since it is my plan to retire on December 23. I hope I can make it that long. I came in to work today and there was no heat in my part of the office. I actually didn't get heat until after 2:00. It was a bit chilly. I think I am going to put a blanket in the car in case this happens again.

Christmas and New Years were great. B and I went to my sister's for Christmas dinner. She had prime rib and it didn't get done enough for us. Shirley was so upset but we had her DH slice the meat and then just popped it in a frying pan for a few minutes and it was very good. She had enough food to feed about 12 people and there was only the 4 of us.

New Years was quiet. We had lobster tail for dinner on New Years Eve, which is our tradition and then on New Years we had duck and fettuccine alfredo, salad and chocolate cake for dessert. Yum to everything. We should have had pork and sauerkraut for New Years but I didn't feel like making it since I really don't like it.

I bought myself a Kindle (e-book reader). I shouldn't have spent the money but I wanted it so I bought it. Got it yesterday and ordered my first book last night before I went to bed. I got a free book 'cause I don't want to spend any more money until my credit card is paid off. I ordered a new pair of glasses on Christmas Eve and they were over $300.00 so that plus the Kindle and some Christmas presents makes the credit card a little to high for me.

Bob and I are both taking January 25th off, it is my birthday, and we are going out to lunch at Wegman's Pub and then looking around their store. It is an amazing grocery store. I was there before Christmas and got some good Stilton Cheese and Duck Pate. We had the Pate on Sunday for lunch and it awesome.

Yes I am stitching. I am currently working on Believe by Waxing Moon. I am doing this for Shirley. She saw it finished at Just Cross Stitch in November and asked if I would stitch it for her. It is turning out so cute. I love it. Maybe I will have to stitch it again for me. I am also working on Mill Hill Jolly Christmas ornament. I have 2 other WIP - Christmas by the Letter by Lizzie Kate and The Button Tree by Drawn Thread. The Button Tree is a problem. I asked the ladies on KYKS to send me white and off white buttons for it and now that I have sewed several on I don't like it. They need to colored buttons even though the chart calls for white and off white. I don't know what to do now.

Well I didn't mean to write a book. I just wanted to write a few lines.

Happy New Year
