A finish and a WIP

This is my current WIP. Prairie Schooler Christmas Village. I am stitching it on 16Ct Silvery Moon using DMC floss. I started it on March 1st so this is my progress after a month of stitching.
This is the February ornament I made for my sister. It is Snowflake Quilt Block by Stitch Witch. It is a freebie from Cyberstitches.com.

SOME FINISHES

VeeandCo Peeping out for Easter stitched on 14 count white aida using DMC floss. I am going to make this into a No-Sew-Cube and I may give it to one of my nieces for Christmas 2010 if it turns out OK.
Imaginating, Inc. Heartfelt Harvey from the 2008 Just Cross Stitch Ornament issue. This is stitched on 18 CT Aida using DMC floss. This is the March ornament for Shirley. Haven't decided how I am going to finish this one. I would like to stitch this again using blue varigated or overdyed floss.
Yes I know I haven't posted a picture of the February ornament which is stitched but I am in the middle of finishing it as an ornament. I will post a picture as soon as I get it finished.

Angelic Stitches by Velda Christmas is Love stitched on perforated paper. This is the January ornament for Shirley. I plan on making her 12 ornaments this year and giving them to her for her birthday in November.

Mill Hill Frosty. This is going to be one of the ornaments I give to my great nieces and nephews for Christmas 1010.
I have several more stitched I need to post but they are ornaments and I would like to finish the backing and hangers before I take pictures and post them. I plan on working on the finishing tomorrow afternoon.

Yeah it is finally spring

This past weekend was absolutely beautiful. It was like May instead of March, with temps in the low 70s. B and I have finally decided where we are going to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to go to San Francisco, rent a car and drive up to the Sonoma Valley and so some wine tasting. We are going to go in September.

I have been stitching. I started stitching PS Christmas which Cathryn so generously lent me the chart for. I was so frustrated last night. I found a huge mistake and now I am frogging and frogging. Hopefully I can finish the frogging tonight and get back to stitching. I finished stitching a Mill Hill Christmas ornament, another Christmas ornament for my sister and an Easter project by Vee&CO called Peeping Out for Easter. I am planning on finishing the Easter project into a No-Sew-Cube. I just need to get out and get some material and ribbon. I have taken pictures of some of my finishes I just need time to download them. I will get to it soon.

This coming weekend my sisters and I are going to Syracuse to see Laura dance. This will be the last time we will see her perform. She graduates from high school in June. Just doesn't seem possible that she just turned 18.

Hope you all have a wonderful week and I will post pictures as soon as I can.
