Abstract. Nonlinear controllers for voltage source AC-DC and DC-DC boost converters are presented. The control algorithm is based on a feedback linearizing concept and developed using a two time-scale separation method on the base of reasonable simplifying assumptions for resulting locally stable error dynamics. Decupling vector control is designed first to guarantee that reactive component of the line current vector exponentially decays to zero. As result equivalent voltage dynamics for both converters is the same.
