The world’s a broken mirror
Sharp pieces crowd the ground
People run in blindfolds
Oblivious to their bleeding selves
Consumed in consuming
Controlled by a culture of fear
This is the age of reason
Humans are aught but their minds
Long ago a time existed
Before men were ‘enlightened’
When wisdom was honoured
As a great King on his Throne
Humans were noble
The People of the Soul
They sought transcendence
To soar beyond worldly forms
