Your heart is speaking
Do you hear it calling?
Whispering softly:
‘Don’t lose yourself in this world
Always Remember
You are an eternal soul
Forged from a most sacred light
Never forget that
You’ve been born with wings to fly
Let the winds of Grace take you
Deep within your hallowed self
And up through celestial skies’
When the sun rises
It’s filled with playful joy
Splashing its colours
On the sleeping world
Everything wakes up
Squealing in delight!
The world is crying out for help
Empty stomachs scream in pain
Listen lovers of hoarded gold
Give and turn your hearts
Into priceless jewels
The world is crying out for help
Ignorant hatred fogs the world
You who claim to love the truth
Clear the air and speak out loud
Do it even if you stand alone
The world is crying out for help
The sky is raining blood
They hear their mother wailing loud
Why don’t her children
Heed her call?
The world is crying out for help
She cries for there is always hope
As long as there’s a heart that loves
The odds are in favour
Of our world

Golden mountains kiss the flowing sky
Musical flowers sing in scented gardens
Dancing rays pour on the crystal earth
Enchanted air streams through the stirring forest
Peaceful Springs gush from the living ground
Roaming Oceans listen to the splendid moon
And you say,
Miracles don’t exist?
Open your eyes!

Look up at the sky
Does it seem worried
By the clouds that pass it by?
Look towards the sea
Does it feel anxious
By the boats that sail on through?
Look around the earth
Does it look afraid
When the sun sets on a side?
Now look at yourself
How do you become
With problems that come and go
Nature is a teacher
Be at peace watching things flow
Sadness turns to happiness
And happiness does the same
If you try and take control
Of things in the world outside
They will grab a hold of you
And pin you to the ground
Do not become enslaved
To fleeting moments
That are gone in a flash
In the blink of an eye
Learn from your past
I know that you know
One day
This pain shall pass
O’ child of Adam,
Soul marked with grace
You were created from love
That you must embrace
O’ child of Adam
Light of His splendid Face
Embrace your nature
Ascend to your rightful place
O’ child of Adam
Born from earth,
Light your path
And abode
O’ child of Adam
The breath of His soul
Born with purity
Let greatness unfold
O’ Child of Adam
With knowledge of names
Climb to humanity
Or fall down in blame
O’ Child of Adam
There are two ways to go
Up or down

Become like the earth
Receiving the rain of breath
Birthing Life anew
Become like the rain
Pouring mercy down to earth
So Beauty may grow
She fed and clothed them
Gave a safe place to stay
They stripped her of her garments
The savages had their way
Oh children of the earth!
This is your mother!
She gives from love
And you ravage, loot and rape her?
What atrocity!
In the name of progress?
Ha! A mask for materialistic greed
You only progress towards your own destruction
Be you the rain
which falleth on all
Without discrimination
As it embraces Earth
And in its essence
Sacrifices self
So that beauty may grow
Be you the rain
and shower your Love on all
perchance, they too, may grow
and if their soil is infertile
be it of no concern
for in the mind of rain
Thought of Earth does not exist
what is the alternative?
Be you an animal
That lashes out at all
Afraid to loose its life?
Crushing the garden
From fear and insecurity?
The rain fears not
Secure in identity and purpose
For none can change the essence of rain
So be you that rain
A blessing to the world
a catalyst for growth and beauty
