The Owner of My Heart

I fall in a still quiet
As my whole world fades away
I’m afraid to miss a moment
When I feel your presence is near

Darkness bursts into laughter
Pain stretches out in a smile
My grief transforms into light
All, when I see your loving Face

I float lost in a fairytale
Simming high above the skies
I dance upon golden waters
All, at the feel of your touch

The backbone that holds me up
The home where I find my rest
The Peace deep within myself
You are, the Owner of my heart

O’ child of Adam,
Soul marked with grace
You were created from love
That you must embrace

O’ child of Adam
Light of His splendid Face
Embrace your nature
Ascend to your rightful place

O’ child of Adam
Born from earth,
Light your path
And abode

O’ child of Adam
The breath of His soul
Born with purity
Let greatness unfold

O’ Child of Adam
With knowledge of names
Climb to humanity
Or fall down in blame

O’ Child of Adam
There are two ways to go
Up or down
Which will you choose?
